I froze. The Alpha was worried. The Alpha that was angry at me and would have beaten me to a pulp if Andrew had not intervened and saved my life. I'll have to remember to bake a cake for Andrew for saving my life.

"No.... Its not true. He wanted to hit me earlier BFG. You know what my uncle did to me". I said while tensing up. The thought of my uncle always makes me feel bad.

BFG spent a lot of time writing on the notepad and when he finished writing and gave it to me I saw the very long thing he had written. I raised my eyebrows at him and pointed at the notepad. He just smirked at me and pointed at the book for me to read it.

Am serious Ken. He is not like that wicked mutt that claims to be your uncle. And not all Alpha's are like him. Have you forgotten that I'm also an Alpha.

I looked up at him and shook my head. He can never be wicked. He is my big teddy bear.

I looked at him to see him trying to imitate the puppy dog face and laughed at that. I don't know if I'll be able to do what BFG is asking of me but I'll try. For my happiness and for BFG.

"I'll try". I said and saw BFG's eyes light up and If he wasn't mute he would've squealed.....manly." But, there's a but. I don't know if it'd work out". I added.

He quickly picked up his notepad and started scribbling very fast.

Trust me it'll definitely work out. Not now but later.

I nodded my head in confirmation. I might look okay on the outside but I was very scared inside. I don't know if this thing I'm about to do is right but I trust BFG with my life. He never did anything to hurt me so I do trust him.

I felt a tap on my knee and looked up. BFG gave me the notepad.

Let's go meet him yeah?

I shook my head rapidly. I might have agreed to give him a chance but I never said it'd start now.

He gave me a pointed look and pointed at the door.

" BFG he's angry with me. I can't go out there ". He just rolled eyes and started writing.

Well, he's angry but not at you. He's angry at your uncle because he made you to have a phobia for Alpha's.

" So he's not really angry with me?" I ask just to be sure.

When BFG nodded I let out a sigh of relief. I'll try and get to know him. For BFG.

BFG brought me down from the counter and Led me to were my mate was.

Wait a minute. I don't know his name.

I quickly grabbed BFG's elbow and brought him to a halt.

"Quick question. What's his name?". BFG laughed silently and brought out his notepad.

His name is Jason.

Madison scoffed. You were rejecting the idea of him earlier and now you love his name. Make up your mind Kenzie.

I ignored her and followed BFG to see my ma... I mean Jason.

He nodded his head and said, "I don't expect you to get used to me immediately. It's a gradual process kitten. I'm just saying that you should try and get to know me, okay?". I nodded my head in confirmation. I can do that.

We stood still looking at ourselves before Jason's eyes became blank and his back tense.

He nodded his head at something. I looked around to check if anyone was there but there was none.

"The doctor is coming in now to check on you okay?". He asked.

I know I said I'd like to know him more but everything that happened today is taking a toll on me. I just need to rest and my aching head is not helping me at all.

" Lie on the bed and rest. Let me get Daniel. I want you to recover fully Kenzie ". He said with concern laced in his tone.

Too tired to speak I just did as he said and laid down on the bed.

" That's good "He said while nodding his head. He started moving towards the door and when he was about to reach the door ,he paused and turned to face me.

" Quick question. What's a BFG?" He asked.
