That was how I spent the night. I didn't sleep a wink. I managed to kill few, though.

So don't blame me if I'm deadly afraid of them. I didn't know that I was already sobbing because Jasmine was beside me in just a towel and she was shaking me.

''Kenzie, what's going on love?'' She said while looking at me with worry.

''S-spider. Its here'' She must think that I'm pathetic now.

I'm crouching in a corner and I'm crying because of a spider. Jasmine looked around and saw the spider on the wall in the corner of the room. She was about to kill it when Jason barged in.

As soon as I saw him, I started sobbing again. He cane to me and lifted me into his arms.

''What's wrong ,Love'' He asked clearly worried. I tried telling him what happened but couldn't. I just buried my face into his neck.

''What the fuck happened here? She leaves for an hour and the next thing I hear is her scream'' Jason growled. I flinched in his arms and he muttered 'sorry, love' to me.

''I was in the bathroom when she started screaming. She saw a spider. I was about to kill it when you came in'' Jasmine explained. From her tone, I knew that she was worried. On a normal day she talks backs at Jason, so for her to remain calm now means that she is very worried.

''Well kill the damn spider'' He growled, but it was gentler this time. If that was possible.

I heard a smack on the wall and I knew that the spider was dead. Jason started moving out of the room still carrying me. He was just saying things that I couldn't hear, but they were soothing.

I was about to fall asleep on his body when I felt him put me down on a seat. I looked up to see that we were in his office. He went to the small fridge that was there and took out a bottled water.

Bless him! My throat was almost dry.

He opened the water and gave it to me without saying a word and I drank it. From how his jaw was clenched, I knew he was mad.

I made Jason mad.

I didn't like that I made him mad.

''I'm sorry'' I don't even know what I did.

''I told you to stay in with me kitten. You promised to mind link me if something was wrong, but you didn't. I heard your scream from here, hell the whole pack heard your scream. You don't know how scared I was, Love'' He ran his fingers through his head, frustrated.

''I'm sorry'' I muttered again. It was that damn spider that caused this. I was doing fine till it decided to show up. Fudge you, spider!

''I know kitten, but just promise me it won't happen again. You will mind link me at all times if I'm not with you. What am I even saying?'' He said, mumbling the last part to himself. He gave me a pointed look that made me want to flinch. I looked down to my feet, feeling bad that I made him angry.

''Look at me, Love. You will not leave my sight at all. Okay?'' He said with a tone that clearly says 'no argument'.

Great! Back to square one. Well done spider. Well done. You've just spoilt my hard work.

''Kitten are you listening to me'' Jason asked.

'You are welcome. Its no big deal, though'

'Yeah, thanks for cleaning the room and wasting a full bottle of sanitizer in my room' She said sarcastically.

I laughed at what she said and bid her goodbye when Jason called my name.

''Yeah?''

''You need to rest, let's go home'' He said while standing up and taking a few or many files with him. I was pretty tired too but I was scared of falling asleep and having a nightmare.

I followed Jason out of the office and we went to his suite.

We got there and Jason unlocked the door. We got in and I saw a guy sitting on the couch and was watching the TV while munching on a snicker.

Jason clearly knew who he was because he growled at the guy.

''What the fuck are you doing here?''

The guy looked up at Jason and grinned.

''You are back? Hi brother''
