"I'll do my best to get you out of here" He said, looking at me with pity. I hate that look with passion. But I can't do anything about it, he's here to help me and I really want to leave.

I nodded my head at him and tried to focus on what we were doing, but the track playing in the background is making it kind of impossible.

"I need you to try and tell me the route to your boyfriend's house" Brian said, bringing out a small piece of paper from his back pocket and a pencil.

"He's my m-mate" I tried not to wince as my jaw throbbed badly from just talking. Brian don't know how bad my bruises are, he just knows that I've been hurt because of how I've been wincing.

Someone came in when I was asleep or unconscious, I don't know who it was, to put makeup on me. I knew when I saw my wrist that were once blue-black looking almost normal. So I knew they must've applied some on my face too.

"Oh ok. I thought it's same thing as boyfriend or h-husband. Just don't mind me at all. Just tell me how to get there" He said, flushing bright red.

I thought about his question and honestly don't know what to answer him. The first time I ran away from the pack, I didn't think to memorize the route and when brought I was in the trunk of the car, blindfolded and drugged.

I tried to think harder, it should be in the north or south. I didn't think to ask of all these things when I was there. Pathetic Kenzie, pathetic!. My eyes blurred as tears rolled down my cheeks. How am I going to get out of here? My uncle will finally succeed in keeping me here, I won't see Jason,BFG,Jasmine and Jordan and Zayn and Avery and Bridget and oh! all the pack members. I won't get to see them again!

I was already hyperventilating at this point. I could breath and it felt like something was closing in on me. I don't know what. I tried hitting my chest or something, but I couldn't lift my hand. It felt like lead. I don't know what to do.

"You have to b-breathe Kenzie. You need to breathe" I heard someone's panicking voice say. I recognize the voice, but i can't put a name or face on the owner of the voice. I was hearing a soothing sound, but I don't know where it's coming from. It sounds nice.

"You need to breathe. I'll be sure to get you out of here, one way or the other. I promise. You need to be alive for for,uh,...Is it Jaden or Jasper?. Whoever he is, you need to be alive for him right?" He asked desperately. I know this voice now. It's Brian's.

"He's n-name is Jason. I n-need to b-be alive f-for Jason" I repeated. I need to be alive for Jason.

"Yes, yes. You need to be alive for Jason" Brian replied.

My breathing returned back to normal and I became aware of my surroundings. I was sitting on the floor now and Brian was beside me, his hand was on my back, patting gently. The soundtrack that was set before was now playing a soothing sound.

I looked to my side, where Brian sat and looked at him. He cleared his throat and looked away, looking uncomfortable.

"You don't owe me anything. I've always wanted to do something like this, but it never happened until now. So you don't owe me anything. You get to meet your mate and I get to do something I've always wanted to do" He countered.

He looked at his watch and saw that his time was over. He picked up the paper and dropped it inside his pocket. He bade me goodbye and left. When the door closed behind him, I started smiling so hard, even though everywhere hurt, I couldn't stop smiling.

I spent the rest of the day replaying Brian's words in my head.

"I believe this is enough for me to work on. I promised to get you out of here and I intend to keep my promise"
