…What? The high and mighty Ian Frankston was actually resorting to such lowly methods? Understandably startled, Zivon eventually asked, “…What prompted the decision?”

“…He tried to reason with Whitney, and he even said that he was willing to marry her in exchange for the antidote. Sadly, she said that she only wanted to marry you, and… With how stubborn she is, he didn’t have much of a choice…”

Jovan’s explanation instantly made Zivon’s gaze fall.
