Cameron had arranged for a caregiver for Greta, but he himself made a quick exit from the hospital. Greta felt a heavy cloud hanging over her heart, sensing Cameron's love slipping away bit by bit, leaving hardly any trace behind. She dreaded the thought that once his love was entirely gone, they'd become strangers. Greta couldn't bear to think about what lay ahead because, to her, there seemed to be no future.

The next day, before the sun had even peeked over the horizon, Nathan was already up and about. Usually not one to fuss over his appearance, today he flung open every door of his closet, carefully selecting his outfit. It finally dawned on him what people meant when they said, “The closet never has what you need to wear that day.”

Meanwhile, Nathalie, in her usual routine, woke up to the blare of her alarm. She picked out her clothes with a nonchalant air, though today, her choices were unusually vibrant. After a quick grooming session, she stepped out of her room, only to find Nathan sitting on the stairs looking completely downcast.

Nathalie stopped in her tracks, then walked over to him. “Nathan, what's bothering you?”

Nathan turned to her with a sigh. “I just can't find the right clothes.”

It took Nathalie a moment to process what he'd said. Then she helped him to his feet. “Nathan, everyone’s always saying you’ve got model-like legs, perfect proportions, a striking face, and a commanding presence. They say you look good in anything.”

Nathan replied, “It’s not about what they say. What do you think?”

As Nathalie adjusted his clothes, she smiled, “I think they don’t say nearly enough.”

Nathan, who rarely showed much emotion, broke into an unexpected grin, flashing eight perfectly white teeth—a smile like a burst of spring sunshine.

“Well…” Nathan began, his voice filled with emotion.

Eventually, Nathan and Nathalie, clad in matching outfits, headed to the registration office. Nathan sported a deep blue shirt with a red patterned tie, perfectly capturing the essence of a suave CEO. Nathalie wore a red dress with a deep blue scarf, and together, they looked like a picture-perfect scene.

But as they stepped into the registration office, a minor hiccup occurred. Nathan, the usually cool and collected business mogul, was like a deer in the headlights, cautiously moving as if any misstep might ruin their big day.

And of course, what he feared came to pass. His hands trembled like crazy as he filled out the form, leading to several do-overs before getting it right.
