Greta eased into the conversation with a sly tone, "Babe, you know about the Timeless Cycle, don’t you?" Her voice carried an undeniable certainty.

Cameron’s face twisted with irritation as he shot back sarcastically, "Wasn’t it you who smashed it?"

A flicker of panic crossed Greta’s eyes. "Sweetheart, don’t you think that thing was seriously creepy?"

Cameron knitted his brows in thought, "Yeah, it was pretty eerie. It showed me some hidden truths."

He paused, his gaze sharpening, his tone growing harsh, "Like how you schemed against Nellie and Nina behind my back."

Guilt flashed in Greta’s eyes as she trembled, avoiding the core issue, "Those were just things Morris wanted you to see. He’s trying to get back at me, to make you leave me. It’s all to please Nathalie."

Cameron’s expression turned stormy, "So, shouldn’t I leave you?"

Years of bottled-up resentment spilled out, "Greta, I never imagined the woman I loved so deeply could be so appalling. You were vying with Nellie for attention, using my daughter’s life as leverage—how could you be so cruel?"

Greta shot back, "That’s because after you had a kid with Nellie, you wanted to go back to family life more and more. I couldn’t just sit by and watch, so I tried everything to stop you from going home. But I was powerless, and you treated me with more and more disdain..."
