Nathalie paused for a moment and said, "Most of what I have, the money and things, were gifts from my dear Nathan. Giving them to you wouldn't feel right. But as a designer, if you don't mind, I can make you a suit instead."

The man immediately replied, "Sure."

Nathalie was taken aback by his easygoing nature and smiled warmly.

"Could you share your measurements with me?"

"Sorry, I don't know them. Could you help me measure?"

Nathalie chuckled, "No problem. Although, I didn't bring a tape measure today..."

Just then, the assistant in the front passenger seat opened a drawer and pulled out a tape measure.

"Miss, will this do?"

The bodyguard handed it back to her.

Nathalie took the tape measure, unrolled it, and then, a bit shyly, said to the man, "Alright, let me get your measurements."

The man nodded, adjusting his posture to make it easier for Nathalie.

She started with his shoulder width, then moved on to his chest. They were so close their breaths mingled, and Nathalie noticed the man tense up, his ears turning a surprising shade of red.

Quickly, Nathalie stepped back to create some distance. Trying to ease her nerves, she joked awkwardly, "You're too skinny, you should eat more."

As soon as she said it, the two men in the front seats turned pale, glancing back with concern over Nathalie's bold comment.

Nathalie realized she might have crossed a line. She remembered when she first met this man, his bodyguard warned that he hated women fawning over him.

He was usually cold and harsh to such advances.

She had just committed a big no-no by talking to him like family.

He'd probably think she was trying to butter him up.

This man was a puzzle. With just a few words, he could take her on an emotional rollercoaster.

She didn't want to linger around him any longer, afraid she might fall for his tricks. Pointing to the upcoming intersection, she said, "Driver, could you please let me out at the next corner?"

The man asked, "When the suit is ready, do you know where to send it?"

Nathalie realized she hadn't asked for his address yet. Shaking her head, she said, "Would you mind telling me where you live?"

"Rosewood Manor."

"Rosewood?"

A flicker of confusion crossed Nathalie's face. She suddenly recalled standing years ago in front of a rich estate, looking at a garden full of roses, and unexpectedly bursting into tears.

Next to her was the frail Nathan, who silently took her hand when he saw her cry.
