Nathalie's voice was icy as she said, "She was once. But not anymore. Now, I see that child as spoiled, with your blood running through her veins. I just can't stand her anymore."

Cameron felt like his world was crumbling. "Nathalie, how can you talk about your own daughter like that?"

Nathalie shot back, "You wanted a shot at redemption as a father, didn't you? Well, here's your chance. Take her and get out."

Despite the tension, neither Benjamin nor Cameron made a move to leave. Their eyes wandered around the room, searching.

Benjamin couldn't hide his ambition. "Nathalie, about Nathan's stuff. I want to take it."

Nathalie clenched her fists, but took a deep breath, swallowing her anger. "His stuff, apart from the computer, is just his clothes in the closet. Take whatever you want."

Benjamin was thrilled. "Oh, I don't need his clothes. They're not my size anyway. But his computer could come in handy. I'll just grab that."

Nathalie added, "I don't get computers, but if there are any important personal files on it, you better give them back to me."

Benjamin nodded eagerly. "Of course."

He then got up and started packing up the computer.

Nathalie turned to Cameron. "Do you want anything of Nathan's too?"

Cameron, envious of how easily Benjamin snagged what everyone in the Capital coveted, was caught off guard by Nathalie's question. He distractedly said, "You've given me Nina. That's all I need."

A sly, cold smile spread across Nathalie's lips.

After packing up the computer, Benjamin sauntered over to the bed. "Let me see Nathan."

Before his hand could touch the white sheet, Nathalie suddenly shouted, "Get out!"

Benjamin was taken aback. "Nathalie, is that really necessary?"

Nathalie declared firmly, "I told you, my Nathan doesn't want to see you. Come near him again, and I won't hesitate to let the guard dog have a go at you."

Nathalie instructed Lizzy, "Go fetch Nina, and bring Greta and her mom over."

Lizzy asked, "Sis, do you want to see them?"

Nathalie waved dismissively, "Let them leave. No need for them to see me."

Cameron looked pained.

Nathalie's coldness towards Nina made it clear she had found out about Cameron's scheme to use Nina against Nathan.

Cameron never imagined that Nathalie, who loved Nina so much, would abandon her over this. It turned out he was the one who caused Nina to lose her mother.

Cameron left, feeling defeated.

Benjamin, clutching the computer tower, awkwardly followed behind.
