Benjamin wasted no time trying to sweet-talk Ford: "Hey Ford, I've got to say, I really admire your talent. If you come over to Rowland Corporation, I promise you'll be well taken care of."

This open attempt at poaching made Cameron and Jaime tense up. They, too, had their sights set on these two stars, and if Benjamin got there first, they'd be left out in the cold.

Nathalie shot Benjamin a sideways glance. "Mr. Rowland, did you get your courage from a bottle? Trying to snatch my team right under my nose?"

Benjamin wasn't backing down. "Nathalie, let's be real. You're not exactly cut out for the cutthroat business world. These two are geniuses, and it's a waste for them to stick with you. Why not let them join me, where they can really shine?"

Nathalie picked up her glass of whiskey, ready to toss it back, but Ford gently stopped her. "Sis, you know drinking isn't good for you."

Nathalie put on a show of giving up. "Well, water flows downhill, and people aim high. You two are the rising stars right now. Looks like my little operation just can't hold onto you. Let me toast to your bright future."

"When we meet again, I hope you'll remember our friendship and go easy on me."

Ford looked confused. "Sis, who said we're leaving?"

Nathalie asked, "Even if he offers you a big paycheck, you wouldn't go?"

Ford answered with unwavering loyalty, "Doesn't matter what he offers, I'm staying put. No way I'm leaving."

Nathalie gave Benjamin a mocking smile. "Mr. Rowland, looks like my loyal team isn't interested in your offer."

It finally hit Benjamin how foolish his attempt was. These two were fiercely loyal to Nathalie.

She set her glass down with a decisive thud. "Anyone else up for a wager?"

Benjamin shook his head quickly. "With those two on your side, we'd be crazy to challenge you."

She greeted them warmly.

"So, have you guys come up with a plan for us to team up and take on my uncle?"

The three exchanged awkward looks, staying silent.

Ashley's smile faded. "What's going on?"

Benjamin looked apologetic. "Sorry, Ashley. The Rowland family is barely hanging on. We can't risk getting involved in the Stewart family's drama."

Cameron chimed in, "The Dawson family is strapped for cash and our supply chain's a mess. Even if we wanted to help, we're stuck."

Jaime added, "The McCoy family has a young genius running the show. My great-aunt took me in, but the real power's with him. I'd love to help the Stewart family, but it's out of my hands."
