Miranda was taken aback.

"Get lost."

Miranda and Greta had arrived full of excitement, only to leave feeling utterly deflated.

At the Rowland family mansion, Nathalie sat in her car parked at the grand entrance, her eyes fixated on the imposing doors through the tinted windows.

There was a time when she would pass through those doors regularly just to see Nathan. Back then, she never doubted that Nathan was a true Rowland, not even for a second.

Now, she found herself riddled with questions: Nathan, without any real status, shouldn't belong to the Rowland family. So why had they accepted him so readily? Gavin and Benjamin treated him as though he was their own flesh and blood.

What was the mystery behind it all?

For days, Nathalie's mind had been racing non-stop, never at ease. Every time she felt close to unraveling the truth, a pounding headache would stop her in her tracks.

Leaning back in her seat, Nathalie closed her eyes, trying to gather her thoughts.

It wasn't until Benjamin tapped on her window that she opened her tired eyes.

"Mr. Rowland?"

"Nathalie, I didn't expect to see you here," Benjamin said, crossing his arms and giving her a shrewd look. "Are you here for business or for Nathan?"

Nathalie smiled, "Why not both? It's an adult's prerogative to have dual motives."

"How about coming inside for some tea?" Benjamin offered with a nod.

"Sure, why not," Nathalie replied smoothly.

Benjamin opened the car door for her like a gentleman, and Lizzy quickly hopped out, sticking close to Nathalie.

But Benjamin wouldn't guess that. He'd only see a Stewart heiress who suddenly came into a fortune, assuming it was from business deals.

Nathalie leaned in, "Face it, Benjamin, Ashley doesn't stand a chance in this game."

Benjamin's expression turned thoughtful, clearly deep in contemplation.

After a prolonged silence, he looked up with a newfound respect. "Nathalie, you can be straight with me. Do you have my brother's business playbook?"

Nathalie's face was a whirlwind of emotions—irony, joy, sorrow... it was all there.

It was as if her questions were answered without her even asking. She had been wondering how to bring up Nathan with Benjamin, and he had unknowingly opened the door for her.

"Your brother?" Nathalie played dumb. "Nathan's more of a machine, not exactly your sibling, right?"

"Or do you have another brother somewhere?"
