Lizzy sidled up, her voice soft and warm, "Hey sis, just like you thought, Nina's at the hospital. But she's not ready to leave with us."

Nathalie let out a sigh, "Call Cameron. He should come and get her."

"Okay," Lizzy nodded.

Cameron was worn out from his endless travels and work. The moment Lizzy called, he hurried over to the hospital.

Nathalie took in his weary appearance, noticing the strands of gray in his hair and the wrinkles on his once-pristine face. It was obvious he hadn't had an easy time these past few years.

"Where's Nina, Nathalie?" he asked, his exhaustion evident.

"She's hiding somewhere in this hospital. You need to keep looking for her," Nathalie replied calmly.

Cameron seemed on the brink of breaking down, "This is the daughter you raised, always running off. How did she pick up such a bad habit?"

Nathalie looked him straight in the eye, "Cameron, aren't you wondering why she's choosing to hide in a hospital?"

Something dawned on Cameron, and his expression darkened.

Nathalie stepped closer, her eyes cold and piercing, "Because she can't find peace here. She's lingering like a restless spirit."

Cameron's hands shook uncontrollably.

Nathalie sighed, "You let her down before. Don't make the same mistake again."

"I get it," Cameron replied, his voice rough.

With that, Nathalie and Lizzy left.

Cameron walked into the hospital, looking drained and defeated.

Thanks to Nathalie's clue, he found Nina in the hematology department. She was curled up in a corner, like a stray cat looking for a safe haven.

Cameron went over and gently hugged her, "I'm sorry, Nina. Daddy's sorry for letting you down again."
