Cameron kept his cool, saying, "She was just following Nathalie's orders. She probably didn't even know what she was getting into."

Greta, refusing to back down, yelled, "If you know what Nathalie's up to, why do you still let her get away with it?"

"Greta, that's enough." Cameron snapped, his patience finally worn thin by her antics. "Is it that you don't trust yourself, or you don't trust me?"

"Cindy's innocent, and I'm not going to let your tantrums hurt someone who doesn't deserve it."

With that, Cameron turned to Cindy and gently said, "Cindy, why don't you head back to your room?" His voice softened noticeably as he addressed her.

Feeling threatened and insecure, Greta burst into tears and ran off. Cameron didn't chase after her; instead, he headed back to his own room.

In the stillness of the night, a sudden, chilling scream broke the silence: "Greta..."

Cameron jolted awake, his mind a blank slate for a moment as he tried to make sense of it all.

Soon, a maid knocked on his door, urgent and breathless, "Cameron, madam's coughed up blood and is in a coma. It's critical."

Cameron leapt out of bed and dashed to Greta's room as if his own life depended on it.

The next day, Nathalie, flanked by Dominick and Ford, strutted confidently toward Empire Holdings. Ford lugged a hefty briefcase filled with a thick stack of proposals.

Dominick eyed the proposals nervously, sighing, "We just got these done last night. Who knows if there are any mistakes? I heard Cameron got wind of this bid ages ago. They've had plenty of prep time, and he's a savvy guy. Going up against him might just be a waste."

Nathalie smacked Dominick lightly on the back of the head, "Stop being so pessimistic and giving them all the credit."

If Cameron didn't show up in those two hours, Dawson International would miss their shot. Without this project, they'd be hanging by a thread.

Two hours later, the bids were opened. Without Dawson International in the mix, Nathalie's Stewart Enterprise snagged the win.

As Nathalie walked out of Empire Holdings, riding high on her success, Cameron came barreling in, looking frazzled with his stunning assistant by his side.

Seeing him in such a state, Nathalie couldn't help but smirk.

"Mr. Dawson, it's game over."

Cameron, eyes blazing and wild, shouted at Nathalie, "Nathalie, how could you stoop so low?"
