Morris sat by the big window, staring outside with a worried look on his face. Nathalie, with her single kidney, couldn't afford to catch a cold. These sudden weather shifts were practically her worst nightmare. Back in the day, she'd get sick every time the weather changed.

All of a sudden, Morris wheeled himself over to the closet. He grabbed a thick, plush fox-fur cashmere cloak and made a beeline for the door.

Just as he was about to head downstairs, he overheard Lincoln on the phone with his daughter: "Vivian, the weather's turned chilly all of a sudden, and you're not dressed for it. I'll have Lizzy bring you some warmer clothes. What's your address?"

"Dad, I'm at a client's clothing store right now. I've already picked up a warm, cozy cloak. Don't worry about me. Oh, and Dad, remember to remind Nathan to put on an extra coat too; he gets cold easily."

Lincoln was momentarily speechless. He glanced at Morris, who casually draped the cloak over his own lap.

With a hint of sarcasm, Lincoln said to Nathalie, "Don't worry. He knows how to take care of himself."

"Dad, make sure you take care of yourself too."

Lincoln's face lit up with a smile: "Of course, sweetheart. You're such a considerate daughter."
