The man sported a suit that screamed luxury, paired with a watch that probably cost a small fortune, and had eyes so sharp and intense they could give you chills. He had that unmistakable aura of someone who's been molded by the high society elite, a veteran of maneuvering from the top for years. Yet, despite his polished appearance, standing next to Greta, he seemed a bit out of place.

Greta, meanwhile, was all cozy, her arm tucked around his as they sauntered over to Morris. She kept up this sweet, innocent act, with a voice so syrupy it was almost dripping with honey.

"Sis, I've been searching for you forever. Finally bumped into you today," she chirped, though her eyes were sneakily darting over to Morris with a mischievous glint.

Nathalie's internal alarms were going off like crazy, and she instinctively moved to shield Morris.

"Greta? Never thought I'd run into you. Didn't check my stars today, guess that's why my luck's in the dumps," Nathalie shot back, her words sharp as a tack.

Instead of getting riled up, Greta just chuckled. "Oh dear, is my little sis getting protective over a man because she’s got a crush?"

Nathalie's face turned frosty. "Don't call me your sister. I don't have a sister like you."

Greta didn't let up, though. "Now that you're the Stewart family heir, you've forgotten those days we all leaned on our adoptive family."

With just a few lines, she painted Nathalie as the ungrateful type.

Then she turned to the distinguished-looking man beside her, her voice dripping with sweetness. "Jules, didn't I tell you my sister's tough to deal with?"
