Morris watched her unsteady walk with worry etched across his handsome face. "Greta," he muttered, his voice carrying a dark, almost haunting tone.

The following morning, after a quick breakfast, Nathalie, Morris, and Lincoln each went their separate ways.

They exchanged rushed goodbyes as Lincoln headed to the Sharp family estate. Nathalie gathered Ford, Dominick, and others to help with the search. Morris, meanwhile, called out to Lizzy at a leisurely pace.

"Lizzy, I need to head out. Care to join me?"

Lizzy was in a hurry to meet Nathalie in the basement and politely declined. "Mr. Rowland, my sister has something pressing today, and I need to assist her."

Morris grinned. "I won’t keep you long."

But Lizzy stood her ground. "No can do. My allegiance is with my sister, and I only follow her orders."

Morris paused, his face turning serious.

With a sigh of mock resignation, he touched the panel on his wheelchair, lighting it up in blue.

Lizzy looked on, curious. "Mr. Rowland, what’s that about?"

Morris gave her a knowing look. "Time to show you who’s really in charge."
