The next day, Lily posted again. 

"The wedding dress of my dreams, and the man of my dreams..." 

The photo showed her in a white wedding dress, beaming, with Ethan smiling behind her. 

The backlash was immediate. 

"I've seen shameless, but this is next level." 

"Trash belongs with trash. You'll get what's coming to you." 

"This is disgusting. Can we get her account banned already?" 

My inbox was flooded with messages from friends and even my old neighbors, all offering support. 

"You should've left him ages ago. You deserve better." 

Everyone assumed Ethan and I were already divorced, and that Lily was living her new life as his wife.

But the truth was, my lawyer had sent the divorce papers multiple times, and Ethan had ignored them every time.

I was preparing to take him to court. 

But as I read through the messages, something clicked. 

Maybe everyone had forgotten—there's a crime called bigamy. 

A few days later, I received a video from a friend—footage of Ethan and Lily's wedding. 

In the video, they exchanged vows, rings, and a kiss.

The guest list was small, but the atmosphere was festive. 

When I got the video, I was back at Ethan's house—our old house. 

The smart lock still had Lily's fingerprint saved. She'd moved in after I left. 

But my fingerprint was still there too. I didn't know what Ethan was thinking. 

I walked inside and saw the place had been completely redone. 

The decor, the furniture, the appliances—none of it was familiar, none of it was my style. 

I looked up at the spot where our wedding photo used to hang—the one I'd forgotten to smash in my rage. It had been my favorite picture, the one I thought captured the happiest moment of my life.

I snapped a picture with my phone, staring at it for a long time before finally texting Ethan: 

"Congratulations on the wedding." 

He called immediately. 

I answered.

"The wedding was just to make Lily feel better."

"She's been through a lot because of the online hate."

"I just wanted to give her the dream she always wanted."
