Orion fell silent. Heather’s face darkened as she snapped, “So you’re not going to tell me, huh?”

Orion said, “It was Mr. Chandler who told me not to tell you.”

Heather’s heart dropped and broke into pieces. She thought it would take Jonathan some time to bring Mireille out, but she didn’t think he would act so

Heather asked sharply, “Was it Mireille? Where did you take her?”

Orion was surprised that Heather already knew. He gave her an address. When Heather heard the unfamiliar place, a wave of despair hit her. Over the past few days, she had cried, caused a scene, and even threatened Jonathan–but nothing worked.

Jonathan was still set on doing things his way. He even secretly bought new properties for Mireille behind Heather’s back.

Heather felt a cold shiver run through her body and started shaking uncontrollably, her palms sweaty. At that moment, her mind went blank–she couldn’t think of anything.

Mireille was out. Heather forced a bitter, mocking smile as she closed her eyes. A tear rolled down her cheek. Suddenly, she felt completely drained.

Unaware that Heather was starting to change, Sophia arrived at school right at lunchtime. She took Dorian out to eat at a nearby restaurant before going back. As the center of attention, everything she did always drew eyes.

Everyone at school was curious about Sophia. So when she was seen having lunch with Dorian, someone secretly took a photo and posted it on the school forum, quickly causing a buzz.

With not much homework, most students were excited to explore campus life–scrolling through the forum for the latest news. When Sophia’s photo showed up, the comments exploded.

Heather’s sobs suddenly stopped. Sophia said impatiently, “You keep asking me what to do. How should I know?”

Sophia sneered, “If Jonathan can buy a house for Mireille and you’re upset, then toughen up and get yourself a young boyfriend, if you can’t do that, then honestly, just drop dead already.”

Heather burst into tears again. “Figure it out yourself. Annoy me again, and I’ll block you,” Sophia said before hanging up.

On the outside, Sophia looked annoyed, but inside she was secretly happy. She was hoping to see the two of them cheat on each other. After she hung up, Heather was left feeling heartbroken all over again.

Just then, Vincent sent Heather a message: [Hey, how’s your foot? Make sure to
