As I walked down the aisle, my gaze only fixated on the most handsome man in my eyes. His sweet smiles send me over the moon. At this moment in time, I felt like we were the only two people in the world. Everything just vanished, and he is the only one I see in this vast place filled with people watching us. My eyes glistened as we made eye contact while I walked towards the altar where my husband-to-be was waiting for my hand in marriage.

Before I knew it, I was already in front of him. His eyes also glistened with tears of joy. We smiled at each other and he took my right hand, then kissed them gently. He looked at me with all the love in the world. My heart flipped as soon as I noticed the invisible red strings of fate tangled on my wrist and index finger, which connected to Azrael’s wrist and index finger, too. We stared at each other with a knowing smile.

These red strings of fate are the symbol of our eternal love. This means that whatever happens, we will always be together forever. Fate will always bring us together, no matter what happens and no matter where we are.

“Ah, you are so handsome, my cupcake!” I heard Val utter. So I looked at her and saw her squeezing Drelix's cheeks. Drelix's face flushed, and we all chuckled.

“Valkyrie, stop pinching my cheeks. We still have to do the wedding ceremony.” Drelix said, and Val’s face flushed red. I know that look.

“Call me Valkyrie one more time and I’ll stop,” Val whispered and winked.

“Valkyrie,”

My sisters and I gagged while the others suppressed giggles. “Oh please, stop flirting! We’re in the middle of the ceremony, you know?” Damona whispered.

“Ehem.” someone cleared their throat, and we all turned, then saw the gods and goddesses in their respective seats. They were all smiling at us.

My sisters and I, with our partners, walked arm in arm to the wide altar below the gods and goddesses. We stop in front of small pillows on the floor. Then we all kneeled with the pillows on our knees and bowed our heads in respect.

“All rise,” God Jupiter said and everyone rose. Songs played in the background beautifully. Then Juno, the Goddess of Marriage Ceremonies, walked in front of us carrying her scepter, giving off her majestic appearance.

“My children, please be seated,” she said, and everyone obeyed. Everyone sat down except us. Of course, we have to remain standing for the ceremony. We all turned our attention to Goddess Juno. She continued, “First, I’d like to begin by welcoming and thanking each one of you for being here today to witness the happiest days of the lovely wedded couple to be.”

“Today, we are all lucky to witness their most remarkable moment and their commitment to a lifetime of love for one another. Most of you, all witness their love story, especially Alice and Azrael.” Goddess Juno glanced at me and Azrael with a smile, then proceeded. “Their love story is a rocky start filled with ups and downs. But nothing love cannot do when bringing two people together by any means. Well, that’s because they are meant to be. As you all know, love is an immense and powerful emotion that changes the life of an individual. Love is a desire that is deep-rooted in your heart more than it does in your minds, which occupies and fills eternity. It’s a divine spark that exists within us–the soul itself, which is immortal and infinite. But if you love without a little suffering and sacrifices, you won’t experience eternal love and true happiness.”

I couldn’t help but smile at her words. That is spot on. It’s my first time hearing Goddess Juno talking about love. Speaking of love, Goddess Juno is really devoted to God Jupiter and only loves him her entire life. What a pity that Jupiter can’t love only one person. He is quite a womanizer. =_=

I felt Azrael squeeze my hands, so I glanced at him and smiled sweetly.

“I will not make my speech long. As a goddess of marriage, it is my duty to bestow my blessing on the lovely wedded couple to be. Perhaps marriage is the greatest and most challenging adventure in each relationship. But it is just a seal of the declaration of love. Only you can create your marriage through love and patience, dedication and perseverance, trust and loyalty, commitment, and so on and so forth. Now, you may exchange your vows and rings.”

Our cute little ring bearers march towards us with our rings shining when adjusted slightly. Their cute smiles almost melted my heart. My handsome baby Ezzekiel grinned from ear to ear and let our rings float in front of us.

“Ahh, my baby boy is so handsome…” I uttered, and Ezzekiel winked, which made me and Azrael chuckle.

Then the cute ring bearers all walked back to their seats with cheerful expressions.

“Cybelle and Xandra, you may commence.”

Xandra and Cybelle face each other with a smile. Then Cybelle delivers her vow first while holding Xandra’s hands.

“Xandra, I swear to you to always be there for you through the good and bad times and will always love you unconditionally. Our love may differ from others, but it’s the most special thing I have experienced. With you, I felt like the happiest woman in the world. You made me feel special about every little thing you do. There are times I tell myself, how lucky am I to have you in my life? You are so loving, and everything I wish for. I love you with all my heart with a passion that no words could ever express. You are the strength I didn't know I needed and the joy that I didn't know I lacked. Today, I vow to spend the rest of my life with you. My love, I will give you this ring. Wear it with love and joy. I choose you to be mine and my only wife. Together, we are one forever.” Cybelle put the ring into Xandra’s ring finger in her right hand. Both crying in happiness.

“Cybelle, my love, you're everything that I ever dreamed of and everything I will ever need. I treasure you the most in my life. You're my love, light, and soulmate. You're the person who keeps me singing, smiling, and laughing. I am who I am today because of you. At this moment, I vow to be here with you and for you, forever and for always. I promise to love you for eternity and to trust you with all that I have. With this ring, I promise you that you'll never have to face the world alone. And together, we are one forever.” Xandra said with tears of joy rolling down her face and put on the ring on Cybelle’s ring finger on her right hand.

Then Willow and Zelix proceeded.

“Willow, you are my long-standing rival. You are like a willow tree. You are easy to bend but not easy to break. No matter how hurt you were, you withstand anything. When you disappear, I become a wandering soul, locked up in a cage and lost in the darkness. Then I found your light and tried reaching it. But I ended up wounding you and, at worst, rejecting you. I never realized you are a treasure that I have found. A priceless gold. From this day forward, I will cherish and protect you, hold you close, prize you above all others, and remain faithful to you for all eternity. With this ring, I vow that I will always love you.”

“Zelix, having you in my life is the greatest gift. You are the bravest and most powerful rival I had. I actually admire you silently. Although sometimes your cold-bloodedness annoyed me. I fell into despair when you rejected me flatly without batting an eyelash. You are cruel, self-centered, cold-blooded, selfish, arrogant, and greedy. However, I see through your sufferings. Yet you are willing to change just for me. You chased me until I gave you a second chance. I promise to accept what you are, who you are now, tomorrow, and in the future. No matter what happens, I will accept you over and over again. I vow to cherish you, hold your hand forever, in sickness and in health, until time do we part. I give you this ring, as a promise of my love.”

They exchange emotional vows which move the audience into tears. We all smile after they put on each other’s rings. Their vows are so moving.

Next, it’s Val and Drelix's turn.

“Valkyrie, you are always my archenemy. When we first met, I fell in love at first sight. You are different from every woman I have met. Your fierceness keeps my fire burning inside me. You made me laugh, and you made me complete. You bring colors to my dark skies. I vow to laugh at all your jokes, funny or not. I vow to let you tease me as much as you like and never complain. I vow to cherish, protect, love, and comfort you in all the good and bad times. I will make you happy and spend the rest of my life with you. With this ring, I promise you love and joy for all eternity.”

“Drelix, I swear to cherish you for the rest of my days. I promise you the moon. Just say the word and I’ll throw a lasso around it and pull it down for you.”

“Sorry to burst your bubble, my daughter, but I’m the only one who can pull the moon!” Mother Selene reacted quickly, which made everyone laugh.

Val giggled and continued, “I mean, I can try? Hehe. Ehem… You are my biggest rival when it comes to everything I like. But when I’m with you, I feel more alive. You are my happy pill and my everything which I need on a daily basis. I love you more than you’ll ever know that I can't express with words. I vow to always fight with you so that you won't forget our fight a few years ago. With this ring, I promise to love you and give you my everything.”

They exchange rings with a gentle smile. Val even showed her fangs playfully, which made everyone laugh.

“You’re disgusting!” Damona and Demonise both said with a grimace. Laughter echoed throughout the entire venue as my sisters started bickering playfully.

“Your sisters are so lively,” Azrael said with a smile. I hummed with a smile on my lips.

I overheard Val still making Drelix call her Valkyrie. I know why Val acted like this. It’s because she’s pregnant, but the bump isn’t visible yet.

Damona and Helix proceed with their vows.
