Sensing the tension between Morris and Cherise, Leo glanced at Crow, who was casually munching on snacks. 

Then he pulled Crow out of the room and closed the door behind them.

Leo dragged Crow over to the bar on the first floor, ordered two glasses of juice from the server, and finally let go. Then he said. “Weird? Back at the Lewis Chemical Plant, you held my hand while we ran.” 

Crow took the juice Leo handed him, looking embarrassed as he took a sip. Then he muttered, “I thought you were a woman at the time! I’m a gentleman–I always want to look out for a lady
