A few minutes later, a notification for a new email popped up in the inbox. 

Cherise lazily curled up on the couch, hugging a pillow. Once she found the most comfortable position, she opened the email. 

A resume filled with awards appeared before Cherise. In the top right corner was a passport–style photo. 

A youthful and handsome male student was featured, with rosy lips and white teeth, wearing large black–framed glasses, and looking well–behaved and polite. 

“Hank Reese, male, 14 years old. Address: Charity Orphanage.” When Cherise read the basic info, she unconsciously read these points out loud. 

Then she murmured, “Only 14, just a kid. And from an orphanage too. Truly, new talents are always emerging. However, she forgot that she herself had been a young prodigy once. 

Next, she continued reading the resume, “First prize in the Clusia Youth Traditional Medicine Skills Competition. 

“Gold medal in the Global Youth Clinical Skills Competition. Winner of the special award in the Global Science Skills Innovation Competition. Global Youth Traditional Medicine Talent Grand Slam…”

Calvin, sitting in his seat, said, “Have you heard? Our Traditional Medicine Department is getting a new student.” 

After he said that, he patted Zander, who was still reading. “Zander, have you heard?” 

Zander shook his head and kept reading, showing no interest in responding. He had heard about it, but he just didn’t care.

As soon as he said that, everyone exclaimed “Wow!” Even people like Zander and Jean, who were used to big news, stopped what they were doing to listen carefully.
