After hanging up the phone, Claire felt confused. She muttered to herself, “Hunk’s father was so polite when he spoke, totally different from the one appeared on TV. That’s weird.”

Claire had just finished speaking when her phone rang again.

“Oh? Who is it? Never mind. I should answer it first, lest I miss something important,” Claire spoke to herself.

She answered the phone. “Hello, who’s speaking?”

The person on the other end of the phone replied quickly, “Hello, Claire, long time no see. Do you remember me? I am Tristan who you met in Gavoria years ago.”

As soon as she heard the name, Claire’s eyes widened. She wondered, ‘What day is today? How come I receive phone calls from two big shots from Clusia?‘

She felt passive and timid when talking to Arthur just now, but now she was much bolder.

She cleared her throat and said, “Tristan? Are you crazy? Didn’t you receive training before you hoodwink someone? If you were Tristan, I might have been Audrey Hepburn. I have no money, and I am not pretty either. Don’t call me again. You can’t fool me.”

Arthur and Claire appointed the following evening to meet.
