He went with the police to take Rosa's statement. Rosa did not know much about Bruce's situation at all, but she did give one clue, and that was that Bruce would often call a man named Logan behind her back.

Back then she was still a bit wary of Bruce, so she would often secretly listen to his conversations with Logan. Back then she had wondered if Bruce was seeing other women outside. So while he was in the shower, Rosa had secretly looked through his phone and recorded Logan's phone number down.

The police asked Rosa to give them the phone number that she had recorded. With the number, John found out that his full name was Logan Wheeler.

After some investigation, John found that Logan owned quite a few shops. In order to exert his power, he had quite a few underlings under him. Bruce had indeed worked for him before.

Although they had found a connection to Logan, it did not mean anything. Right now, they had to find Bruce. Edric did not want to let anyone know about their findings in fear that they would scare the enemies away. Now with Rosa's police report, they could publicly search for Bruce. The police marked Bruce as a wanted man.

When Logan caught wind that the police were out to arrest Bruce, he was furious. Bruce had long been planning to start out a new life. That had been his last time doing a job for Logan.

Logan was a very meticulous person. Even when he wanted to transfer money to Bruce, he used through many different vessels to do so. After Bruce completed his job, Logan had given him a sum of money to leave San Fetillo and start a new life somewhere else. However, he had not expected Bruce to have been so greedy that he even took away all of Cecilia's money.

Logan cursed Bruce in his heart. He hired someone to get information about the police investigation ongoing for Bruce and confirmed that it had started due to Cecilia's report. Logan felt a little more relieved. This issue was nothing too big. After all, the police might not even be able to find Bruce. If they did, he could just return the money and maybe spend a year and a half in jail and that would be it.

Of course, Logan was still not completely at ease. Bruce was a wanted man now. He had to think of a way to get Cecilia to drop the case. That would be the best solution.

Logan had previously heard Bruce boasting about Cecilia. He would talk about how she was a procurer and how well she treated him. Logan had never really paid much attention to his words before. However, perhaps he should pay this Cecilia a visit.

Logan visited Cecilia's nightclub where she procured. When he entered, a woman with heavy makeup came over and took the initiative to pull his arm, "Sir, are you alone? Are you in need of service?"

Logan got a whiff of the pungent perfume from her body and almost threw up. He held it in and pushed her away before walking in, but the woman did not take the hint. She followed him and began to introduce him to all the ladies inside. It was only then Logan realized that she had to be Cecilia.

He found a seat and sat down. Cecilia sat next to him and continued to promote her young ladies. Logan had originally been repulsed by her scent, but after suspecting that she was Cecilia, he did not show his disgust, but instead began to size her up.

The lighting in the nightclub was dim, so he was unable see her face clearly. All he knew was that she bore heavy makeup. Now after taking a closer look at her face, Logan was shocked.

"Why does this woman look so familiar?" After thinking for a moment, he suddenly felt a shiver, "Isn't she Rosa Skinner?"

Logan realized things were not looking good. He had to get out of there before Rosa recognized him. Thinking of that, he immediately stood up and left. When Rosa had seen Logan sit down and listen to her talk, she thought that she would be getting some business. Unexpectedly, he stood up and abruptly ran out. Rosa felt that she was really unlucky, and she spat in his direction as he ran away, "Pooh! What the hell is wrong with this guy?"

Logan hurried out of the nightclub and returned to his car. His heart was still beating fast. Cecilia was Rosa? He could not believe it.

She didn't recognize him, did she? Thinking about it, she probably did not. If she had, knowing her temper, she definitely would have caused a scene.

He wiped away the sweat on his forehead. He was the one who had taken Rosa's virginity. She had still been in her teens back then and she had ended up pregnant, but she did not want the baby. Her brother, Jackson, had searched high and low for the man who had gotten Rosa pregnant. Rosa had been loyal to Logan so she never told her brother. If it wasn't for the fact that Jackson got imprisoned, Logan would definitely be dead.

Most importantly, the reason why he was so afraid of Rosa was not because he had taken her virginity and gotten her pregnant, but because he had done another thing that Rosa had witnessed with her own two eyes.

If Rosa decided to tell the world about what he did, he would be doomed!

Logan reached home filled with uneasiness. When Heather saw his flustered expression, she felt that he was being abnormal, so she asked, "Logan, what's wrong with you?"

"N-Nothing," Logan faltered.

Edric had ordered his men to keep an eye on Logan this entire time, so they had followed Logan to the beauty salon as well.

The beauty salon operated by Heather had an area especially to cater to male guests. When Edric's men saw Logan enter, they followed suit and saw him enter into a VIP room.

After a short while, Deborah also entered the beauty salon. She familiarly walked straight into the VIP room that Logan had entered. Even a fool would know that one man and one woman being alone in a room was unusual. Edric's men took some pictures of Deborah and sent them to John.

When John saw the photo, he was shocked and immediately reported it to Edric. When Edric heard that Logan and Deborah had met in the beauty salon, he immediately knew what it meant.

Deborah must be the mastermind behind his mother's coma, while Marie and Loraine were her accomplices.

Edric had never expected Deborah and Marie to be crazy enough to do this to his mother. It seemed like the reason behind the attack was his mother's shift in attitude towards Irene. Deborah wanted to blame the incident all on Irene so that it would cause a rift between Edric and her. However, Deborah had miscalculated.

His mother would never give Irene saffron to sabotage her own grandson, and Irene was not so vile that she would do such a thing to his mother. More importantly, Edric trusted Irene's character. If she was really the one who had caused Margaret to fall into a coma, she would definitely own up to it and try to make up for it. She would not push the blame onto someone else.

Edric treated Margaret's enemies as his own. Ever since Margaret had been in a coma, the only thing Edric had been thinking about was how to take revenge. Truth be told, he had suspected Deborah and Lily. However, he did not act on his thoughts because he didn't want to alert them of his suspicions nor did he want to frame them if they were innocent. Now that Deborah had met with Logan, however, it had confirmed his suspicions once and for all.

Jordan had also sent some men to tail Deborah. When he heard that Deborah was visiting the beauty salon once again, he sent his men in as well. He came to the same conclusion as John did.

The pictures of Deborah having a private meeting with a man in the VIP room of a beauty salon and of Logan were taken by Jordan's men and sent to him. He smiled contemptuously when he saw the pictures. So, Deborah was cheating on Steven? My my, what a turn of events.

He had to let Irene know about this to let her make a decision about her actions.
