Elon snapped back to his senses and suddenly released his grip.

He stared absentmindedly at Eva's swollen cheek and the bruises on her neck.

A flash of pity crossed his eyes.

But it wasn't for Eva-it was because he thought of me.

He raised his hand and slapped himself twice, muttering to himself:

"How could I bring myself to hurt Natalie and little one? I've already taken everything from them!"

His eyes were filled with despair, and he kept tearing at his hair.

Seeing this, Eva struggled to get up, grabbing his hand and slapping it across her face.

"Elon, if you're sad, then just hit me, I don't mind. I'll endure anything for you!"

"But Christian is still so young. Today, Natalie dared to hit him in front of me, and little one scratched Christian's face."

"Without me there, who knows how they'll treat Christian in the future!"

"If you can't bear to let Natalie go, then I'll leave with Christian. I promise we'll never show up in front of her again, okay?"

Her words seemed full of sincerity, and even Elon couldn't help but be moved.

Seizing the opportunity, Eva pushed the child towards him, speaking with a touch of sadness:

"Christian, say goodbye to your dad. From now on, no matter how we live, we won't disturb him anymore!"

Christian pouted and cried loudly.

"I don't want to leave papa, I don't want to!"

Elon's eyes reddened, and he gently hugged Christian, patiently comforting him.

"Alright, if Christian doesn't want to leave, he can stay with Dad."

Eva quickly snuggled up to him, pretending to be understanding.

Elon hesitated for a moment, but in the end, he reached out and pulled her into his arms.

Just as Eva thought she had won, the silent assistant stepped forward.

A flicker of anger appeared in his eyes as he clenched his fists, speaking without mercy:

"Mr. Gray, when I was checking on Mrs. Gray's whereabouts, the hotel sent over some surveillance footage."

He pulled out his phone, opened the video, and handed it to Elon.
