Sebastian sneaks out swiftly before Scar can snap out of that breathtaking kiss. Dare not to attract attention to him, Scar has to watch him slip along the wall out of her sight. She can’t see his location after only one or two seconds. All she knows is, that the two men in the room haven’t noticed anything on this end of the abandoned plant.
But they are searching their way over to her.
The closet has an in-wall cabinet, and half of its door missing. From what it looks like, it’s for the cleaner’s work jacket and tools. Inside it hangs a huge, blue jacket but no pants or any other. And on the left corner a dirty, empty basket.
Dare not to risk making any sound, Scar takes off the jacket instead, puts it over her head,d and curl in the corner by the door of the small closet.
It’s the same chance to be spotted whether she’s on the floor or in the wide open cabinet, if they ever come to search in here.
“It doesn’t look like they are in this one either,” A mean, loud voice approaches the closet, making Scar flinch at it.
“They have to be, there is no other way out,” His partner grunts, hitting something onto the ground with his baseball bat, “We have to get the documents today, one way or another!”
“Yeah, the documents, but what about the girl?” The first guy lets out a mean smirk, his tone vicious, “We can have some fun with her before reporting back to the boss, can’t we?”
Scar’s blood runs cold.
“IF, you get the documents first!” His partner snaps angrily, “If it wasn’t your stupid brother who let her out of our hands, we would be having that fun by now!”
Scar keeps her whole body under that huge pile of jackets, and dares not to even move an inch.
Sebastian is nowhere to be seen, the police, too. Her whole world feels empty with just her and two men that means no good right outside that paper-thin door.
Then even the voices of the two men disappear.
At some point when Scar was panicking, they stopped talking. They were smashing things as they searched before, but when she came around, she realized she couldn’t catch even their light footsteps.
Scar dares not to even move.
By their earlier speed, they should have reached the little closet she hides in by now. Any movement from Scar could catch their attention. But couldn’t see or hear anything, Scar feels like there are a million needles stinging her whole body. Her head sweating steam as if she could feel the sight of someone who is nailing their eyes on her.
