Chad and his sister had been out for two hours before he drove back home.

As soon as they arrived home, they heard their mother Coleen frantically wanting to go find their daughter, "No way, the Cedillo family can't take my daughter away. Honey, you quit your job, let's get out of here."

Mr. Kendrick comforted his emotional wife, holding her and saying, "Honey, Jade wasn't kidnapped, it was us who took her away."
