"He gets what he wants," Jenny continued. "No matter what the consequences."
"I hate him," Anastasia whispered as her tears swiftly rolled down my cheeks. She wiped them away, feeling weak.
"I'm sorry, Luna," Jenny spoke sincerely, almost in regret that she had to tell her this information. "He had announced this to everyone. Even if you run away, he'll find you."
"Is there any way I can change his mind?" she asked, hoping there was, knowing there wasn't.
"I'm afraid not."
"Does he have.. any weaknesses?"
"Well, there is one thing I know," Jenny said in thought. "The Alpha's weakness is that he loses his control easily but you won't like what happens when he does."
Her face paled slightly as if remembering a certain event and Anastasia badly wanted to ask what happens when he loses his control.
If she began being a bad girl, will he lose his control and finally get rid of her? Will he let her go? Well, perhaps death was better than living in this hell.
Apparently, she couldn't take it anymore. Who would want to marry a stranger was beyond her. He must be insane and it wasn't normal.
"I'm tired," she sighed, leaning back on the couch and trying to understand the difficult situation she was in.
"I prepared a bath for you, Luna," Jenny offered.
It sounded like a fresh warm bath would be a really good idea for now. She nodded her head and stood up. She took the tray from the coffee table and led her out of the Alpha's office.
They walked back to his bedroom and entered the holy bathroom. She saw the bathtub already filled with water and bubbles. Jenny placed the tray beside the bathtub and gestured for her to get in.
Anastasia nodded with a smile. "Thank you."
"You're welcome, Luna." Jenny performed a curt bow then turned to leave her alone in the bathroom.
Releasing a heavy sigh, she stripped and got in the bathtub naked, feeling warmth wrapping around her body. She laid back and looked up at the ceiling, thinking about him.
She just didn't understand him. Not at all. All she knew was that he was somehow a very dangerous man and one wrong move could be something she'd regret for the rest of her life.
Would he really hurt her?
She felt frustrated. Looking afar, she took a grape from the tray Jenny left beside the bathtub and popped it in her mouth. Relaxing herself a little, she finally closed her eyes. She needed patience and a lot of thinking to get out of here.
Running away was the easy part. She would need some kind of strategy. God, this felt a lot like a movie. But she didn't feel scared at all. As a matter of fact, she was excited for an adventure.
