"What did she say?" I ask Brooke after she is done interrogating Holly.

"The usual," She sighs, "I think you should let her attend her classes. We know for sure that it's not her who vandalized your office," She says further.

I cannot help but agree with her but we still cannot let Holly go. She can lead me to my mate. There's a chance that she may know my mate.

We know for sure that my mate is in the first year of her college and it may very well be that she could be a classmate of Holly.

"Did you look in the database?" I ask and Brooke pulls out the list of all the students that are in Holly's class. I ignore the list of male students and look at the list of all the female students. There are thirty-five of them, excluding Holly.

Apart from the administration, no one is allowed to look into the student's details. Though Brooke somehow managed to get the list from the office. We are doing everything we can to get her.

"You can go into their department to know who she is," Brooke suggests but I shake my head at her. I don't know why but I have this feeling that if we do this then we'd fail. She has a way of slipping through our fingers like sand.

The closer we think we get to her, the farther she goes away. We need to find a way around. We are already too close to her. I'd hate it to waste this opportunity.

"We have to find another way," I tell her. She sighs as she continues to arrange the papers in my office. The place is still a mess. Even though we don't have any classes today, Brooke decided to come and help me get this place in order.

When it gets frustrating, we decided to leave.

"Jake!" Brooke hisses at me as we head out of the building. I stop on my track to look at her in bewilderment.

"What?"

"Do you recognize this scent?" She asks me with her eyes wide. I catch a familiar scent before looking around. I spot a human not far away from us. She is busy typing away on her phone. I recognize her face from the list. The scent belongs to her.

"Lisa Toles. It was her scent along with your mate's," Brooke mutters. It doesn't take me long to connect the dots. This means that she vandalized my office along with my mate. We have solved half the puzzle!

We can just walk up to her and interrogate her. Brooke stops me abruptly when I am about to approach that girl.

"Yes," Holly breathes. My heart stutters.

"Can I know her name?" Brooke asks grimly. I have my jaw clenched and I am clutching the list so tightly, it's on the verge of tearing.

"Wait, did she set me up for this? Did Lisa and that prick vandalize your office and put my ID in your office?" Holly bellows suddenly, ignoring the question. Brooke gives me a momentary look before she insists, "What is her name, Holly? Tell me,"

My eyes are trained on the list in my hand. I want to know. I will know. This is it.

"First tell me. Did she set me up for this?" Holy demands again. My chest vibrates with a growl. I don't like Holly already and now she is giving more reasons to hate her even more.

I take the phone from Brooke's hand before speaking, "Holly, I will ask you again. Who is Lisa's friend?" My tone comes out threatening and I am sure that Holly feels my dominance subconsciously.

I am on the edge of my car's seat along with my wolf. If Holly doesn't answer me now then I will make sure that she doesn't get to attend classes for the rest of the month.

I hear a long pause on the phone before she answers, "Cybele,"
