I was about to open the door when Tim came in, not knocking. He looks like he got ran over by a truck. "Light are you ok, I heard your door slam, what happened? Did someone hurt you while you ran home?"
I smiled even though I forced it on my face. "I'm okay, just when I was running my way back, I saw a mountain loin which surprised me. It jumped in front of me, and it did not look happy." Timmy face flushed white as I told my lie.
"What's wrong Tim, are you okay?" I remember his confused look when I bowed down to him.
"I'm sorry, I was not there to help you, did it hurt you any where?" He asked while checking my body.
"It's not your fault. I'm fine, let me get wash up, and maybe we can go to the Zoo like your mom said, it would be fun. You can even show me around town or something. If that's okay with you." I said
"Sure, I will make some sandwiches, and we'll eat first before we leave. Hey do you like videos games, and shopping?" I gave him smirk than answered.
"I never played video games before, never knew how. I hate shopping, it takes forever getting clothes." I said back.
"Ok, I'm going down stairs. My mom is already at the Zoo working, so we'll meet her there. So hurry up little sis." I hit his arm, while he walked away mumbling how I hit so hard.
I yelled at him, "I'm not little okay, so suck it up big baby." I giggled while I took a quick shower and put some shorts on, and a white T-shirt that had the Batman symbol on it.
I grab my book off the night stand, and put it in my bag so I can write more facts about my animals I turn into.
I slipped my necklace around my neck and headed out. Tim and I both ate our sandwiches, and ran to the car and got in. I buckled up, then set my bag between my legs.
Soon we were off to the Zoo.
We arrived at the Zoo an hour later which we parked in the front.
Since Mary was the owner we get in free, and get free sacks. We walked to a building, where you give information. That's when I saw Mary helping little kids make Mac-cheese shells and then put them on a plate covered in glue. Mary saw me and smiled.
I shoved Tim, and pointed to where Mary was.
We walked over to her, Tim said, "Hey mom, we came to visit? How's the kids doing?" Mary had a exhausted face, but kept it plain and sweet.
"Very tiring, but everything is fine." She said to Tim. "Light, dear, how you been this morning. I notice my son took you on a run. I hope it was nice."
"Yes, it was nice." I said while glancing at my worried brother.
