"My name is Lighting Reed, but please call me Light." I said as I took out my hand for her to take. She put Lilly down, and she grab my hand to shake.
"It's nice to meet you Ms. Reed, maybe Mary can get give you a job here. She's very nice." She said.
I gave her a smile, then said, "Well actually, Mary is my foster mom now. She adopted me at the orphanage yesterday afternoon. I forgot to tell you, sorry. Maybe she will give me a job here." I said.
Mrs. Dee had a shock face, then she said, "Really, she got you, but your hum- I mean that's great. It's nice to have you in the pa- f-family." That's when I realize that she's a werewolf too.
"Well I better leave, I have to feed the family since her parents are on a trip. We'll see each other again I hope. Bye Lightning. Say bye Lilly, we have to pick some food on the way home." Lilly turned to me and said goodbye the last time.
They left after that, then Mary came over to my side, smiling genteelly. "Hey, I have to go do a few things here, and Timmy left already. So you want to help me out for a bit?" I nodded at her, and went to grab my book-bag.
We walked to the lions first Mary had two buckets of raw meat in each hand. "Here. You just put it in the bowl and you'll be fine."
Mary left me to feed the Lions after explaining. I walked to the door to enter the cage, and noticed the food bowl in the middle of the cage.
I noticed a large lion laying on the rock, but suddenly awoken from the noise. I immediately dropped the bucket, feeling my inner cat becoming alarm. I slowly bowed to him, and showed him that I wasn't a threat to him.
One thing about the lions, that they're very loyal to their pride. They stand by their lioness and cubs, and guard them with their life.
The lion walked over to me while I lifted my hand up. First he just smelled it, then put his wet nose into my palm.
I smiled at him, then I stroke his mane. Suddenly his small pride came over with these little cubs. I giggled, the cubs were tugging at my shoelaces, then untied them while I was laughing at them.
The leader growled at them to stop playing with my shoelaces. The cubs stopped, but they sat on the right side of me.
