It was painful at first but the aftermath was mind blowing, we finished and we had a party to attend to, we completed the mating process earlier and I never felt so sore, I had to go to the ceremony eventually for it was an appraisal from me to the pack.

Parties weren't my thing, probably because I didn't even have one before. The first party I wanted to do was with my family but they were gone. The mark on my neck felt so fresh and tingling on my neck that made males get off of my back since they used to not subtly flirt, now they knew I was an official Luna and they made a ceremony.

Dressed in a satin red long dress, I took confident steps to the stage with my very alluring mate, who was very oblivious to the cheering girls in the first row, they stopped when they saw my wolf's eyes.

Grrr, our mate. Lace warned them off as I chuckled at her annoyance.

It's okay, they will never be with him, he's our mate. I calmed her down as the Alpha began to speak.

"Destalia Morgane, my mate, and your Luna, is the bravest girl I have ever seen, I am so lucky to have a second chance mate and I promise you, she isn't like your first Luna, she will take full responsibility as Sterlight pack's Luna." He announced with sparkly eyes as he looked down at me and held my hand. I never felt so satisfied to finally see through him. It was somehow ironic how scared I was of this pack and now, I was a Luna for them.

"Hello all," I nervously said as the neon hall lights shone on me, making my grey eyes stand out more with hints of blue. "I would like to say that I'm honored to be your Luna and I promise that I will give my all to this pack and faithfully comply with everything you need help with." Having nothing to say after that, they cheered on for a long time until they got back to their free food and dancing music.

The guards came in and whispered something in the Alpha's ear, I knew something was wrong when his face morphed into shock. He stared at me and I stared at him, confused until one thing buzzed in my mind.

He knows about Masa.

I felt fearful as his eyes turned black and he dragged me out of the party to talk to me.

"Can you explain to me how the hell Masa Adams, the twin sister of my first mate, is hidden in your closet?" Disappointment swirled in his eyes and I felt like I was being punished in school at how he scolded me.

"I can explain-" I sobbed as he stood away from me, my wolf was angry at him too.

"No, you killed one of your pack's member, how could you?" He spat to me and I got furious.
