"It was funny," Kayla sniggered, "the way the Alpha freaked when you fainted out of shock." This girl wouldn't stop reminding me of that damned Alpha. I was to never speak to him again, I didn't even feel like a Luna here.

Alpha allowed Kayla to sit with me for a little while until the guards returned from their missions. They all looked unnaturally thin that I doubted Alpha fed them. Kayla's body was out of this world, she was thinner than me and that said something.

"Kayla, did Alpha tell you when they would do the Luna ceremony?" I whispered so nobody could hear me.

"There is no Luna ceremony at all." She replied I felt frustrated at that. The pack clearly knew when Alpha said that I was their Luna but I didn't think it was only that; I thought every pack had a special Luna ceremony.

"Why?" She hesitated at my forwardness to know, biting her lip as she gazed at me guiltily.

"The pack didn't want to set the ceremony for you and Alpha agreed." I frowned at her answer. I couldn't draw any conclusion at all and it frustrated me even more.

"The pack doesn't accept me as a Luna," I said out loud irrationally, Kayla wanted to add something but she shut up and I narrowed my eyes respectfully at her, I didn't have any friends except my own wolf so I learned not to trust too easily like my mother advised me to before.

"Tell me," I commanded, my Luna instincts radiated and she bowed her head. I was mad at their stupid Alpha and his hateful pack.

"I can't, he would torment me endlessly, it's a very big secret." I let that go since I didn't want anyone to suffer from my attitude. She relaxed when she knew I was too selfless for my own good.

"Okay." I agreed and she alarmed me to never tell on her or her head would fly to join the ones on the field, I wanted to investigate about that but the guards made their appearance at the wrong timing.

She hugged me goodbye and went, I changed to the silk midnight blue lace sleeping dress in the bathroom and tightened the knot around my matching blue robe. Kayla had an impeccable taste in clothes, I liked all of them so I neatly returned them to the bag and laid on my bed.

The Alpha growled when he entered and I flinched. He was mad that I was wearing a slightly revealing nightwear with the guards around, it was too late to care. I rolled my eyes at his approaching figure as he stood in front of my bed with a grey flannel and shorts.

"Tomorrow will be the war happening so I will escort you to the safe house that's next to the mansion with Kayla and other women and kids." He declared steadily with a perfect stance.

"With Alpha Raden's pack?" He stiffened but then nodded at me, his eyes darkening with lust before changing back.
