The crisp air of the evening wiped my worries away, I stood in the balcony, looking around warily at the dead wolves that were scattered in the area. He was a deadly Alpha and continued to be towards the fighters as he battled the best warrior.

A sense of belonging tugged hard on my chest as I played with the bracelet mom gave me as a previous birthday gift when I turned seventeen. I was nothing without them and I had to make whoever made this fire pay for that cruel murderous crime. I wasn't going down at all, I was going to be as unkind as whoever did this to me.

Just admit it, you want him to kiss you. Lace irritated me with her constant thoughts about our mate.

Did you not remember him putting us into the room where ghosts were? I reprimanded her. I felt her bugging me so I tuned her out. I was feeling weak without the mating mark. I had to hold it together for the sake of my dignity and for what he had done to me.

"Where is she? Where is this bitch?" She wolf's growl was what angered me. I tried to enjoy my peace and she interrupted it.

"I-I don't know but calm down." I could hear Kayla's lie and it set me apart in more anguish. I had enough of this pack.

I opened the door where the guard's back was in my view, I dug my claws and scratched him enough to faint slightly.

"What?" I growled and the whole mansion rattled in fear, my eyes darkened to black and the girl shrank back slightly, it was the same girl who thought she was Luna. Even the auburn-haired girl remained wide-eyed at my fury.

"You! I'm going to make you wish you never met the Alpha." She wanted to leap on me and I was ready until the Alpha appeared, making us all stand in silence.

"Enough!" He ordered, "you both are acting like kids."

What stung more was the fact that he degraded me, the Luna, in front of a weak pack member. They all had no respect and the fact that it came out of my mate's voice dug the knife completely inside of me.

With the dignity I had left, I turned my back on them both and went to my room, the tears rushing down my cheeks. I threw a bag on the bed and collected what Kayla had given me along with the photos of my family. With enough energy, I smashed the bolts on the window because I was on top of the rage meter and I was ready to kill anyone who stood in my way.

"You're going to leave me." He said solemnly and I turned around for a moment, leaving the packed bag beside me.

His eyes held mixed emotions, mostly was a vulnerability. I stood, gaping at him, he had such nerve for telling me that after the shit he had done to me in my first stay.

"Yes, I am leaving you," My breath hitched as I sobbed my words out, "I, Destalia Morgane, reject-"

He clamped a hard hand on my trembling lips and neared mine, his other hand around my waist.

"Don't say it like she did." His voice cracked with emotions and I wiped my tears, he drew me closer, my head on his chest and his arms softly embracing me.
