"Alright, sweet."

We pulled into the parking lot of the meeting place and walked through the double doors with a carving of a full moon placed in the middle. Finding the rest of everyone, I greeted and gave them hand shakes.

The doors closed indicating the meeting will begin, 5:00 on the dot. I took my spot next to Flynn and Alex next to me. This time, the leader of the meeting was Alpha Stone, Briar's father.

"Rouges. They're everywhere and I don't think we are thinking much about them like we should." He started. "As you may know, rouges are ruthless, heartless and soulless wolves who have nose sure for help or a family. Our packs are threatened by them everyday," we all nodded and mumbled in agreement, "but my family, more importantly my youngest daughter, is being death threatened by those sons of bitches and no one can do anything to stop." He slammed his fist on the table in anger.

"Maybe it's a good thing they're taking a liking in Briar. They're leaving my pack alone. Makes it easier on us," an Alpha named Felix answered as he leaned back in his chair. "The only reason that they're here is because of your daughter. She's dangerous in full form and everyone knows it. Since when does a man in the moon determine who my rightful leader is? Maybe it's for the best if they hunt and kill her already." As those words left his mouth, I practically hopped the table to get to him but Flynn and Alex held me down. Alpha Stone dragged over to his smirking ass and grabbed him by the collar of his shirt, maybe a clump of skin too.

"That is my daughter you are speaking about. The only reason why I haven't ripped your tongue out yet is because Briar would never forgive me for it. If it were up to me, I'd have you murdered on the spot but since I have more respect for myself, I'm going to let go of your shirt and finish my meeting. If you have anything else to say, you can wait until we are outside the meeting room to settle it. Do you understand?" Felix just sat there. Grabbing his collar he pulled him up and shoved him back in the seat. "Answer me god damnit!" Stone yelled.

"Yes sir." Whispered Felix who looked like he just shit his pants.

"Now that that's covered..." And he went on with his real reason for bringing us here: packs.

About an hour exactly after we left the house, my phone rings while I'm on break.

"Hello?"

"Hey baby." I sighed at her lovely voice.

"Hello my angel. How are you doing?"

"If tired is good then I'm fantastic." I could hear her smile.

"That's good to hear. I'll be home in about another hour. When I get back we can watch a movie. Okay?"

"Okay. I'll see you soon, I love you."

"I love you too. Bye." I hung up and watched as the two separate huddles of werewolves converse over rouges.

The lunch bell rang and we all clustered back into the meeting room. Everything was going fine until I sensed that something wasn't right. The blood vessels in my head began to pump hard and I could hear my heart beat in my ears. I tried to shake it off but my head felt like it had just been whacked in the back with a bat. I tried to link with Briar but her link had been blocked. That's when I knew something wasn't right.
