"Can I help?" He asked.

"Of course, but once this goes in the oven you, my favorite person in the world, have to get ready to go to your moms for dinner. meaning a nice dress shirt and slacks, okay?" Quickly, he pulled me in for a kiss and I was the one who had to end the magical moment because we had four hours to get this done and you can rush pie. he nods as he goes to wash his hands.

I pulled out the ingredients from the bags and laid them across the counter and then setting the oven to the desired temperature. Step by step, I went through the recipe in my head and began measuring them into the bowls according to the instructions. I grabbed the hand mixer but Chase took it from me. I opened my mouth to protest but he placed his index finger over my lips and shook his head.

"don't say anything unless its the instructions on how to mix this." He smirked at me. Rolling my eyes I walked over to his right side and placed the mixer into the bowl and held his hand on top.

"make sure all of the ingredients are evenly blended on medium speed. i'm going to get the rest of the batch ready. when you think it's done, call me over and I'll check it." nodding and smiling at me, he continued with his job while I lined the pan with the crust. I didn't realize that he played music off of my unlocked phone so I danced along to Twenty One Pilots in the process.

He finally finished so I was able to help him pour the liquid into the pan. once it was full, I opened the oven while I had him place the pan inside since it was too heavy for me. I set the timer and helped him clean up around the kitchen.

"okay, how long do we have until we have to get it out of the oven?" he asked.

"enough time to take showers and change at a normal pace." I smiled after putting the last bowl in the dishwasher. he sighed and looked at me.

"so we don't have enough time to have some you and me time? alone?" I blushed as he placed his hands on my waist and rocked me towards him.

ever since the battle ended, Chase and I have been much more intimate lately. Not going to lie, I love it.

"Sadly, no. I'm sorry baby but I have to make this first impression with your mom perfect." I claimed.

He sighed and smiled. He leaned in and kissed me passionately. "I'm so lucky you're mine." I blushed. "she'll love you. I promise." nodding I pecked his lips once more and pulled him upstairs with me. He took my old bathroom and I took ours. I laid my towels on the counter and striped of my clothing. While the water heated up, I played music on shuffle. Once the water was warm enough, I slowly stepped in the shower and let the water fall down my back. I used my "special" body wash and shampoo, I only use it on special occasions, and then shaved quickly. I clipped my hair up while I dried myself off with one towel while I wrapped the other one around my head over my clip. Still listening to my music, I opened the doors to our bedroom to find my outfit already laid out on the bed. on top laid a note from Chase written on it.
