-straight down the center about 50 feet in-

I stood up and began to limp to the location Tala gave me. I got about half way there and I found my black and white sister, but now she's red and pink. I nudged her with my muzzle hoping she'd wake up. But she didn't.

I know she tried to kill me and all but she is, was, still my sister and I loved her. I licked her cheek and left a large yellow flower on her so I knew where to find her again.

I made my way the opposite direction from where I regained consciousness. My limp not hurting much any more, I began to jog, hoping to get there faster. I found the bodies of dead and unconscious wolves from my, my father's, and the rouges. There were about two dozen dead hunters lying on the ground, but just to make sure, i gathered up all of their guns and destroyed them.

I heard shuffling about five feet away so I took caution. Making my way over, I stopped when I smelt a incredibly familiar scent. Sprinting towards it, I found him hovered over a dead pack member. He looked up at me and I started to tear up.

"He jumped in front of me when a hunter shot. I tried to revive him but it was too late." I walked next to him and shifted back.

"I know how close you and him were, I'm so sorry."

"It's fine. I'll just have to find another Beta." He claimed.

"Why?"

"Because when the Alpha dies with out a warning, the Beta takes the place of the Alpha and the Gamma takes the place of the Beta." Chase answered as he kissed my head.

"So you're the new Alpha?" He nods. "So that makes me the Luna?" He nods again, half smiling. I let it pass through my thoughts while we sat in silence.

"Allison is dead too." He started. My mind quickly went to Evie.

"Oh my god! Did you bring Evie?! Is she okay?! Where is she?!" I screamed.

"Briar, everything is fine. She and Liam are perfectly fine. We made camp at a small area right outside the border where she and Liam are caring for your father, Cooper, Jayden and any other warriors that were injured." His hands cupped my face. I sighed relief.

"How many warriors died?"

"Ten out of two-hundred from my pack and eleven out of two-hundred your father's. I hate that any of them were killed but twenty out of four hundred is better than half of that dying." I nodded.

"Come on, let's go get you checked out." I stood up with him and followed him to the camp.
