For the next few days, Grant didn’t

come home, and I didn’t ask. I quietly

contacted my friends to retrieve the

wedding invitations.

Grant didn’t care for big weddings so

we had only invited our closest friends.

They were all surprised when they heard

“Why are you canceling the wedding?

You guys seemed so sweet,” they asked.
