Chapter 6 The press conference ended. As expected, Alex was waiting by the backstage door. He'd regained his usual composure, looking entirely different from the man who had caused a scene on stage earlier. Ignoring Winston, who was walking beside me, Alex gave me a slight smile.
"Vivian, so the famous international designer Vivian is you. I recently bought your Heaven and Hell bracelet. It's beautiful; I really like it." He paused before adding, "Did you change your number? I couldn't reach you no matter what. Let's stop all this nonsense, okay? Come home with me."
Back when I left, I'd blocked all of Alex's contacts. When he tried new numbers, I blocked those, too. Eventually, fed up, I changed my number entirely.
