I was almost home when I suddenly remembered that I had forgotten my new clothes.

Looking at the time, it was still early, so I turned around and headed back.

By the time I arrived at the office, it was already 1 p.m.

At this hour, it was breaking time, and the office was mostly empty. Most of the employees were eating out, and some were taking their afternoon nap.

I slowed my pace as I walked toward the president's office.

Just as I was about to push the door open, a female voice came from inside.

"This steak is quite delicious. It's really to my liking."

I paused, a sense of discomfort washing over me for no apparent reason.

I had been preparing this meal since 10:00 a.m., spending over an hour working on it.

And yet, he gave it to someone else?

Just as I was about to push the door open, I heard the man's voice, tinged with amusement.

"How is it? She's pretty good with her hands, isn't she?"

The conversation continued.

"Definitely. Otherwise, you wouldn't have married her, would you?"

After the woman spoke, Ethan fell silent for a while.

"Her cooking is pretty much the only thing she has going for her."

I froze in place, my mind going blank, a buzzing sound filling my head.

I stood there, unable to comprehend, before my mind quickly ran through all the female employees in the company.

Ethan had his back to the door, so I couldn't see his expression, but his voice was clear as it reached my ears.

"My love for you has never changed."

As soon as the words left his lips, he lifted Grace in his arms, and within two or three steps, he placed her on the desk.

Grace wrapped her arms around his neck, her legs locking around his waist.

The two of them kissed passionately right there in the office.

The sound of their lips meeting was unmistakably clear in my ears.

I felt completely drained, my mind in chaos, my body trembling uncontrollably.

First, I felt a surge of anger, then disappointment, and finally, all those emotions twisted into pure disgust.

Fighting the urge to burst into the room, I carefully took out my phone, aimed it at the two of them, and started recording.

Since Ethan had chosen to cheat, I would make sure to claim every bit of the benefits that should belong to me.
