“And how exactly are you going to do that?”

“I will. You have to trust me.” I shake my head in denial.

“No. I'm sorry I can't. This is too complicated than you think it is. What I think is best for me to do right now is quit.” My heart shatters into pieces as I say that last word, but I know that's the right thing to do.
