“Mr. Marshall, how do you plan to handle this murderer?”

The two looked at Lucien. Even if Colt had started the trouble, Maren had killed him.

Maren’s actions were still a criminal act, and in their minds, she deserved punishment–possibly even execution.

“Handle what?” Lucien looked at them as if he had no idea what they were talking about.

“Mr. Marshall, Maren killed my son! You can’t just overlook it because she’s your friend. Justice has to be done!”

“Underworld members have no rights in Voutsas. That’s been the Marshall family’s rule for years,” Boyd added. “Even if my brother started the trouble, the way she brutally killed him is no different from the actions of the underworld. She deserves to die!”
