"Yes?" He replied, uncertainty leaking into his voice. I knew me asking him like this wasn't fair but I was going to do it anyway. I wanted everything out in the open. I didn't want people to pretend around me.
"Are you are werewolf?" I ask seriously. I didn't move my head from his shoulder so I felt him tense up. I also didn't fail to notice that the group around the fire behind us had gone completely silent. He shook his head, I sat up thinking he was telling me no. I mean of corse he could possibly not be a werewolf but a different supernatural, but I was pretty certain he was. I was fairly sure that he was the monstrous wolf that sneezed in my face when I was lost in the woods. I had also pieced together that his 'dorms' were most likely his pack, and that his father was the alpha. So I was a bit upset when I thought he was shaking his head no, lying to me. But then he chuckled. I thought for a second he was going to laugh at me.
"You are really observant aren't you?" He asked, when I looked at him he looked amused.
"Yes I am." I answered bluntly, "and I observe that you didn't answer my question."
"Did you hear yourself? Do you really believe what you're asking? If you do, look me in the eye and ask me again." He challenged.
I picked my head up and stared at his beautiful golden eyes. The same as the black wolf. Gaining the confidence I needed I asked again.
"Micheal are you a werewolf?" I ask with a seriousness, he read the boldness in my voice.
It's been about a week since I took off my necklace. I seem to have finally grown into my body. I no longer resembled a 12 year old. My hair is now glossy and shiny, my eyes sparkle and are now bright blue. My skin almost seems to glow and is developing a nice tan thanks to all the time spend outdoors. I have even filled out with nice curves. From my picture last year to this year you would think at least years had gone by.
The voice in my head was becoming more vocal and stronger it seemed, but still weak at times. She would make snide remarks every once in awhile and basically drooled over Michael. I was starting to almost feel her emotions every now and then as well. If I wasn't surrounded by supernaturals maybe I'd think I was crazy, but now, crazy is the new normal. So far no one had said anything about my necklace. I know Michael had noticed but didn't mention it. As I figured, with time away from the necklace the shocking people and headaches completely stopped. I was the happiest I had ever been.
We would randomly talk about the supernatural stuff. They were curious how I found out so I had to tell the whole story briefly, skipping the parts about my necklace. It really was hard to believe all that has happened. I slowly asked questions to fill in blanks that I had. Most of the time everyone was open and happy to answer my questions.
