Of the Internet stories I have ever read, perhaps the most impressive one is The Reborn Omega's Revenge (Valencia). The story is too good, leaving me with many doubts. Currently, the manga has been translated to Chapter 156. Let's read the author's The Reborn Omega's Revenge (Valencia) Internet story right here.
Valencia’s POV
“Good evening… Father. Mother.”
The words felt foreign on my tongue, unnatural, as if they belonged to someone else. I hadn’t called out these words in months. It’s not like we messaged or talked on call like a normal family.
Drogo inclined his head stiffly. “Good evening,” he said, his voice rough as though he was pushing himself just to speak. He gestured toward the grand bed where Alpha Roman sat propped against the headboard, his once-powerful frame now very weakened. His face was gaunt, the deep lines across his forehead more pronounced.
I swallowed hard as his tired gaze met mine. “Come here,” he said.
Lethia remained silent beside him, standing rigidly with her arms crossed.
Her face was carefully neutral, but something about her posture was… strained.
This wasn’t in our plans.
We had anticipated many possibilities for tonight, but this wasn’t one of them.
Roman reached beside him and lifted a small box, placing it gently on his lap before holding it out to me.
The box itself was plain—white, unmarked, like something used to store fragile porcelain. It wasn’t very large, just slightly bigger than his palm.
“This was left by Tatiana,” he said. “A gift meant for you before she… departed.” His voice was rough, barely above a whisper.
I blinked.
A gift?
Had such a thing happened in my previous life?
If it had, I certainly never received it.
“She requested that I give it to you when you got married…” he continued, a strange pause before his next words, “…to Jaxon.”
A cold shudder crept down my spine.
I was speechless.
This was new. This hadn’t happened before.
What was inside? Why hadn’t Roman given it to me in my previous life?
I pursed my lips, unsure of what to say. My mind raced through the possibilities. Was this some last-minute manipulation? Some trap laid out for me?
Roman’s next words sent a sharp wave of irritation through me.
“Whatever happened in the past, let it remain there.” He exhaled heavily, as if playing the part of the wise elder who was oh-so-graciously letting go of old grievances. “I hadn’t given this to you earlier because of everything that transpired, but I’ll forgive your mistakes and wrongdoings. Let bygones be bygones. You are just a child, after all. As your elders, it’s our job to guide you.”
I almost laughed.
Forgive my mistakes? My wrongdoings?
What exactly had I done wrong?
The absurdity of his words burned in my chest, but I bit down on my tongue.
I wanted to see what was inside that box, and if I lashed out now, he might refuse to hand it over.
So I played along.
“Thank you, Alpha,” I said softly, lowering my eyes.
Roman nodded, satisfied, and handed me the box.
I took it carefully, feeling the surprising weight of it.
A few seconds passed in silence, but the tension in the room didn’t dissipate.
Was there something else? Why weren’t they dismissing me yet?
I looked up hesitantly, waiting to be told to leave, but Roman’s gaze hadn’t moved from me.
Then he spoke again.
“Your mother has something she’d like to discuss with you.”
The air in my lungs turned to ice.
“So go with her… and listen to her with an open heart and mind.”
My heartbeat quickened.
A bad feeling settled in my gut.
Lethia turned on her heel and walked toward the door without a word, her arms still crossed beneath her chest.
However I forced myself to stay calm.
This is fine. This is good.
If I played my cards right, this could work in my favor. I just had to be careful.
Before following Lethia out, I turned to Aiden.
My fingers tightened around the box, I had a feeling whatever was inside was important and Lethia…didn’t know what was inside.
I could tell by the irritated glance she had given me earlier. If I took it with me she might tell me to show it to her.
