Shane's friends were also struggling to find someone to manage their projects. Once he introduced them to his contacts, everything started falling into place. All the deals went through, and some even met late into the night to sign contracts on the spot.

After everything was wrapped up, Shane's friends gave him a generous cut, and his clients paid him well, too. Shane didn't hesitate to accept it all.

He stared at the balance in his account, hardly believing what he was seeing. Had he really made that much money so easily?

Shane was still in a daze when the cab finally pulled up in front of Sasha's building. It wasn't until the driver told him they had arrived that he snapped out of it.

He quickly called Sasha to let her know he was downstairs. She came down and handed him all her cards.

"You won't believe how much I made on the way over!" Shane said, still in disbelief.

"How much?" Sasha asked.

"Three hundred thousand dollars," he replied, still feeling like he was dreaming. "That's more than ten months of your salary."

Sasha, who had earned even more through her project bonus, decided to keep that to herself. She didn't want to spoil his excitement since he was just getting started with making real money.

"Making that much on your first try? Who knows, you might end up making even more in the future. Keep it up," she said.

Shane finally managed to get a hold of himself. "These cards you gave me will probably bring in a nice amount, too. I'll share some of the profits with you when the time comes."

"Thanks," Sasha said without missing a beat.

After all, she'd spent quite a bit getting those membership cards, and it would be nice to make some of that money back, even if she didn't really need them anymore.

"And if they are," she continued, "I'll find out what kind of partners they need and send the details to you so you can help them out."

Shane nodded in agreement. "Deal. Anyway, I should get going. I'm worried about leaving Yvonne alone at home."

Sasha couldn't help thinking about how Yvonne used to live alone all the time before Shane moved in. But then she remembered that things between them were complicated, and both of them were part of her plan for revenge. So, she decided not to bring it up.

"Take care," Sasha said.

Shane hummed in response and waved from the car.

Sasha watched him leave before heading back to her room. She pulled out her phone and messaged the group chat, asking if anyone was struggling to find partners for their startups.
