Chapter 34.

Subtitle:  a phoenix on an ice desert.

***Melanie's POV***

I sighed and stood to my feet walking over to were Ryker  was.

Bending to his level I touched his bruised face with my palm and used my hands to clean the traces of blood from his face.

"are you okay? "

I heard him asked and I scoffed.

Was he for real?

"I should be asking you this not the other way round... Common,let me take you near the tree so you could rest while I check the others.. "

I muttered and helped lift him from the floor.

He straggered and almost fell back when I caught him.

He was damn heavy.

"are you that weak now? "

I asked him.

"don't worry..  I'll heal up in less than five minutes! "

He said and I nodded as I supported  him towards walk to the tree bottom.

He sat down and exhaled a lot of breath before leaning on it.

I walked back to the other two.

Lulu was on her kneel as her tails were all shoot up and glowing.

She seemed to be healing up.

I walked towards the Vampire first.

He was just stating on the hard ground.

"are you okay? "

I asked him and he just chuckled.

"I'm not that weak.  Besides,vampires are the fastest to heal so I'm totally fine.. "

He rolled his eyes.

I also chuckled.

This vampire really is such a meat head and will never humble himself will he?

"lulu you okay? "

I asked her as I helped her up.  She was back to her human form and her bruises where gone.

"that cunning sly witch was just one and she managed to beat four of us up to pulp. She's too cunning! "

Lulu gnashed her teeth that one could feel them vibrate as she speaks.

"yeah.. "

I smiled and hugged her, patting her back.

Minutes later all four of us were back on our feet and where standing in front of the huge research which is supposed to be the damn gateway.

"now what?  Wheres the door??? "

Lulu asked.

I shrugged and looked at the Vampire who had a quizzical look on.

"the tree of course! "

He snapped and immediately walked right into the tree and then disappeared into it.

What!!

I gasped and looked at Ryker  who had a good face.

Lulu screamed and looked at me with widened eyes.

"what's going on!?"

She asked and touched the tree but her hands went right through it....

"let's go.. "

I mumbled and went into it as well.

Immediately my eye sight disappeared and it all became dark and hazzy.

All I could see was darkness as I kept turning and turning around in circles as if I was in a running tunnel.

My stomach was beginning  to Churn and hurt, I felt like throwing up but didn't know how.

Finally after an eternity of the turmoil I finally had my eye sight back and I was in a desert.

A blank ice desert.

There was no one around and it was all quiet and dark,no traces of a trees,or anything aside pure white eyes.

I gasped for air and thowed up right on the ice.

The atmosphere was cold and chilling and worst was I had no sweater on.

Where am I?

*** general POV***

as soon as Melanie left lulu turned and looked at Ryker  with worried eyes.

"you should go first.."

He mumbled and pushed her through the entrance.

She freaked out and stepped back but he urged her with a cold look.

"you won't die.. Don't act too childish and catch up with Melanie  will you? "

He snapped and she finally walked into the tree after talking a deep breath.

He followed suit.

But what the Vampire forgot to tell the three of them was that they were supposed to hold hands when they walk into the tunnel else the tunnel will throw them all in different  directions.

Thus,while Melanie ended up on a dry ice desert in the center of the immortal world which was the most dangerous and deserted place in the immortal world Ryker was thrown deep into the jungle.

Lulu ended up in the immortal town where a lot of spirits walk around in harmony.

Among the four of them it was lulu who was in less danger.

But no one knew where the Vampire ended up.

*** unknown POV***

I smiled evilly as I stared at the tree.

Those fools just did exactly what I wanted them to do.

Like I said before hand.

It was all in my plans.

All that's happenin to them was already sketch out by me even before it happened.
