Chapter 54.

*** general POV***

There was a buzzing and distructive wind that quilted the air as soon as Zack took over.

His powers were dancing on the edge of anger as his eyes had turned black.

He was mad at Ryker for breaking his his bond with their mate without his consent and permission first.

Yes, he broke off their bond, and Zack understood why he had to do it but he just couldn't stop his heart from aching.

He knew she would be in terrible pain due to the lost she will feel now but that was to protect her.

He knew it was the only right decision to make but he still feels selfish about it and hates Ryker for doing it without at least asking him.

Now that he was no more linked to her all he needed to do was pay for the sins of his father, even if it may cost him his own dear life he would do it.

He knew that Tammy already used a love charm on Ryker and that he is weak to her now but a woman can never beat a high ranked alpha wolf.

Never has it happened in history before.

"I see you've finally come to your senses that all you've being doing with your little mate was just silly darling! Well I'm ready for you now.. "

He heard a whisper behimd him and he knew exactly who it was.

He didn't need a soothsayer to read it out for him that it was his must hated and dreaded enemy at the moment.

Without turning he replied coldly.

"I see you've gotten enough time to heal up, I hope your ready for me..

Cause I'm not the weak guy you enchanted.

Him and I are two different souls and you should be wise to know that you can never compare us kid..."

He smirked coldly, with a lopsided grin playing on the corner of his lips.

Slowly he turned to face the witch.

She looked rather different now that she was in her witch amour.

Her body was covered completely from head to toe with a thick black witch rope, that had a large black hood connected to it.

The front part was rather open and he could see what she was wearing inside although it was dark and the whole place was chilling.

She had a long black pant on and a loose shirt,his eyes were really sharp and he could see through the dark easily.

"remind me of why I choose that fool's body for my refuge again? "

He laughed.

"now I have to fight with a woman...  A freaking woman.

That's a total disrespect  to my rank as an alpha king wolf,but 's nice you've really gotten to me I may just save you the stress of death.. "

He added and the witch smirked at him cunningly.

"just shut up and fight me if you can! "

She snapped and in a flash she had rushed over towards him and slung her sword right at him.

He,however had already knew she would attack him anytime soon and the dude was fully prepared for her as he skillfully grabbed the sword that was in her hands.

Seeing that she had being traced, the witch flung the sword downwards hard and if cut through the alphas hands, he open his palm and let the sword go with an evil smile.

"come on. "

He called with a smile and smirked at her which angered her to the core.

Using her powers,she added a huge force to the sword and flung it towards him again, this time she was doing it very low and positioning the sword right below his legs.

The alpha did not expect the sudden attack and was not able to react on time, the sword managed to give him a deep cut in his left leg as it left ultimate blood oozing out from hi legs.

Annoyed, he stretched out his arms and his claws elongated even without him shifting, looking at her meaningly he grabbed her by the neck and raised her up from the floor with out hand.

Choking the hell out of her, then he threw her hard on the ground, if she didn't have any power she would have fell and broke herself seriously.

Luckily she was able to control the fall but landed a little harshly.

"I've had enough of you wolves.. Go to hell! "

She yelled, this time she advanced towards him with a shining silver dagger.

No!

The dagger was the most dangerous weapon a wolf should fear.

But his worries were just little seeing that it was in the hands of a lady.

Tammy quickly flew right towards him and threw the dagger at his eyes.

He ducked and the dagger flew past him. An annoyed Tammy used her fingers to control the dagger back to her hands as she looked at him confused,Zack zoomed into her and in a swift and grabbed her neck angrily choking the life out of her once more.

"your really making your death more painful witch. You better not provoke me more else I'll make you suffer and die a slow death."

He growled at her but she only smirked at him, despite the fact that she was in pain and was loosing breaths.

"did you forget you can't kill me? "

She scowled and used her heels to kick him in the groin

He groaned and let her fall to the floor but did not even touch her.

"go on.. Do what you wanna do if it will bring you peace..

I'm not stopping you from killing me! "

He said coldly, not even trying to hurt her anymore.

Zack had finally came to a thought and had agreed with whatever decision Ryker had chosen to follow.

He was not going to be a burden to him, he would gladly sacrifice himself to be able to save his kind, that's what a real king would do.
