Alex was terrified. He immediately shouted at Warren, “Warren! Are you out of your mind? How dare you speak to Mr. Zeller like that? You’re the one who should get out!” 

Then, he hurried over to Felix, his attitude groveling. “I’m really sorry, Mr. Zeller. This is one of my clients. Please don’t mind him.‘ 

However, Felix only looked at Warren. His eyes were full of guilt. “I’m really sorry, Uncle Warren. I’ll wait for you outside. I owe you an explanation.” 

After saying this, Felix turned and walked out, leaving Alex standing there, dumbfounded. 

Uncle Warren? Felix, the holder of the Supreme Black Card, was addressing Warren as Uncle Warren“? What was going on? 

“Humph! I’d like to see what kind of explanation you think you can give,” Warren muttered. 

Seeing Warren head for the door, Alex quickly came to his senses and grabbed hold of him. “Warren! Y–You know Mr. Zeller? Why didn’t you say so earlier? 

“Consider your loan approved. No, I’ll get you a one–billion–dollar loan right now at the lowest possible interest rate. How’s that sound?” 

Alex wasn’t joking. If he crossed Felix, one word from him would have even the manager packing up, let alone a deputy manager like himself. 

Warren didn’t refuse. He simply replied, “Thanks for that.” 

He thought that Alex’s respect for Felix must have stemmed from Felix’s connection to Kane, so he didn’t dwell too much on it. 

As he walked out of the bank, Warren spotted Felix waiting not far away. He walked straight over. 

“I’m truly sorry, Uncle Warren,” Felix said with his head lowered. The guilt weighed heavily on him. 

“What do you have to be sorry for? You’re doing great, strutting around under Lord Kane’s name and acting all high and mighty. 

“But could you do me a favor and let everyone know that you and I are no longer connected? You have a big gang protecting you. I can’t afford to cross those people.” 

Warren’s words were sarcastic, but Felix had no right to be upset. After all, this was all his fault. 

“Hugo won’t be a problem anymore. It was just an accident. Uncle Warren, tell me how I can make it up to you.”
