Before leaving, Warren added one last condition. “If you can’t make this happen, publicly declare that we have nothing to do with each other. Make it a clean break, and don’t come near me again.” 

Warren mentioned the partnership on purpose. Stellar Group’s visit to Avesburgh and their plan to build a city within a city in the suburbs were genuine. Everyone in the business 

world knew about that. 

However, their prestige was unmatched. Ranked tenth in Dragonia, Stellar Group was far beyond Kane’s reach. For Felix, it was an impossible task. 

Warren’s real aim was to sever ties with Felix completely to prevent any potential danger to his family in the future. 

Money was secondary to him. As long as he had enough to get by, it was sufficient. 

Having accepted the deal, Felix wasted no time and rushed to Kane’s place. “Kane, have you heard of Stellar Group?” 

Kane nodded. “Yes, I’ve heard of them. They’re the tenth–ranked company in Dragonia. You can probably imagine just how significant they are.” 

He then seemed to realize something. “What’s wrong? Are you interested in Stellar Group’s plan to invest in a city within a city in Avesburgh?” 

Felix was surprised Kane knew about it. It seemed that Kane was well–informed about 

business matters. 

“I’m not interested, but I need to make Warren’s Velocis Ventures one of their partners.” 

“I see.” Kane pondered for a moment before replying, “That’s beyond my scope, but the chief of Dragon Alliance’s Oasis Clinic should be able to help. Oasis Clinic handles all of Dragon Alliance’s funds. They have many industries in Dragonia.” 

The chief? Felix knew Dragon Alliance could handle this task. “Have the chief come see me, 

then.” 

“On it!” 

That night, at a bar in Avesburgh, Felix and Jack sat across from each other. After a bottle of béer each, Felix finally asked, “How’s the first day on the job?” 

Jack pounded his chest proudly. “I’m solid, man. No worries! I’m already the sales manager. Pretty awesome, right?“.
