“Nice talk. Let’s see if you can walk away alive today!” Vilebane snarled. 

The one who could strike first would certainly gain the upper hand. Having sensed Vilebane’s power, Felix was not about to wait around. He thrust both hands skyward as his energy surged. The clear sky instantly darkened with storm clouds. 

The sight of that astounded Baldo, who was hiding in a nearby building. “Damn! He must’ve started training in the womb. Just his opening move could kill me ten thousand times over!” 

Boom! 

Thunder rolled as five massive lightning bolts crashed down, each thick as pillars. It was a terrifying scene to behold. 

“Five Thunders Strike!” This was Felix’s strongest move. Before this, no one had 

warranted using it until he met Vilebane. The thunderous impacts carved a massive crater in the ground. 

“Not bad, kid!” To Felix’s horror, Vilebane’s voice cut through the chaos. Felix instinctively leaped back. Vilebane appeared before him almost immediately with his fist stuck out. 

As the punch missed, he opened his palm and released a cloud of blue powder. Despite holding his breath right away, Felix was shocked to find the powder seeping through his skin. 

“This is… Phantom Poison!” He recognized it immediately. It was definitely the same poison that had affected Curtis. 

“That’s right! Phantom Poison is my masterpiece! I could kill you instantly, boy. But after how the miracle doctor humiliated me, a quick death would be too good for you. Let’s play for a while!” 

While talking, Vilebane never stopped attacking. Felix could barely defend, let alone counter. Worse, he could tell Vilebane was toying with him by pulling his punches. At full strength, Felix would have been down already. 

There was another problem. Normally, he could remove Phantom Poison quickly. But there was no time to do it between defending Vilebane’s relentless attacks.

After dozens of attacks and the poison slowing him down, Felix took a palm strike to the chest. He flew back 50 feet and barely managed to stand. 

He coughed blood, and his face turned pale. As he pulled out a silver needle, Vilebane’s voice boomed beside him.
