Recognizing Xena’s honesty, Alistair had already begun to accept his new superior. “Thank you for your concern, Lady Summers. Mr. Zeller has already found a way to treat Yara- now I just need to wait.” 

After Alistair left, Xena turned to Felix. “You’ve done me a huge favor.” 

Felix was annoyed. Xena had directly claimed him as her boyfriend without giving him a chance to explain, and she had gotten away with quite an advantage. 

He stepped closer to her with a mischievous look. “Oh really? How do you plan to thank me? 

For some reason, Xena felt flustered. He was standing so close that his scent overwhelmed her senses, leaving her feeling strangely unsettled. She stuttered, “W–What are you doing? 

Wanting to teach her a lesson, Felix suddenly grabbed the back of her head and kissed those coveted lips that many men had only dreamed of touching. The sudden contact left Xena’s mind in chaos–she had never been touched by a man before, so her stunned reaction was natural. 

When Felix’s tongue brushed against hers, she snapped out of it, pulling back with a furious glare. She shouted, “Felix, how dare you!” 

Felix just smirked and deliberately licked his lips, appearing unsatisfied. “How dare I? You pretended not to know me when you arrived, then claimed me as your boyfriend when it suited your purposes. This kiss is nothing compared to your cunning and what you gained.” 

Xena was speechless. Anger radiated from her, and she stormed out of the villa. However, Felix was unconcerned about her thoughts. After calling Kane to continue their online strategy from before, Felix could only hope Averill would arrive quickly again, as he had no other options. 

The next day, near noon, Felix was heading to a restaurant in Canraville when he received a call from Yvonne. He assumed it was about Nala and asked, “Yvonne, what’s the matter?” 

“Nothing really… I heard you’re staying in Canraville. I just landed and was wondering if I could take you out for lunch?” 

Despite expecting Yvonne to avoid him because of Nala, her call stirred something in him. “Let me treat you instead. I’ll text you the address, so just come straight there,” Felix said. 

Michelle was celebrating her birthday at the restaurant, and he had a Section A ticket to Dreamscape’s concert as her perfect birthday gift. When he stopped at a red light, someone suddenly knocked on his window.
