Hanging up the phone, Wendy hurriedly left after informing Felix. “Felix, I have to leave now! The goddess of war, Xena, has arrived unexpectedly. I need to go greet her 

Felix nodded in acknowledgment. He wasn’t planning to leave just yet. He didn’t care why Xena had shown up suddenly, as long as he didn’t run into her. 

A few minutes later, Wendy and Vincent were at the door to welcome Xena’s arrival. Bernard, as the central figure of the event, was also there. With Xena’s high status, there could be no room for any oversight. 

“Dad, why has Xena come all of a sudden?” Wendy asked. 

Vincent shook his head. “I don’t know. I just received the news myself. Could it be related to Mr. Zeller?” 

Hearing that, Wendy also thought it might be the case. It seemed that Xena hadn’t given up. 

“Listen up, both of you. Since Mr. Zeller refuses to reveal his personal information, we absolutely can’t disclose it, no matter who the other party is,” Bernard stated. To him, it was a matter of principle, especially since Felix was his savior. 

Meanwhile, in a luxury sedan near Snowfall Manor, Xena and Jordan were chatting in the back seat. 

“Xena, this is utterly impossible. How could a young man treat a condition that even Dr. Fielding couldn’t cure?” Upon learning that Bernard had been cured, Jordan promptly dismissed the news. 

“So, are you suggesting that Dr. Fielding is lying?” Xena asked. 

Jordan was momentarily at a loss for words. Despite his mentor, Wesley, being ranked several positions higher than Xander, he wouldn’t dare to speak ill of his senior. 

“If it’s true, then I have nothing more to say. I know all the top young apprentices in the field. At least in my view, no one’s medical skills can reach that level. It’s possible to surpass many traditional medicine practitioners, but surpassing Xander? Not likely.” 

Just as he finished speaking, Xena offered a possible answer. “What if it’s the mysterious apprentice of that miracle doctor?” 

Jordan’s eyes immediately lit up. “Right! Only that person could accomplish it. I’m almost certain it’s him.” 

Suddenly realizing something, Jordan smiled and said, “You’re using the Kinsley family’s banquet as a chance to gather intel, aren’t you?” 

“Exactly. This matter concerns my grandpa’s life, so I can’t just give up easily. Even if I don’t say anything, my presence at the Kinsley family’s event is obviously advantageous for them. They’re not dumb, so they will certainly comprehend,” Xena replied. 

In fact, there was nothing wrong with Xena’s statement. 

The presence of the goddess of war at the Kinsley family’s banquet was an immense honor. No matter what the real connection between them might be, it’d appear entirely different to outsiders. 

At that time, people who were usually out of reach for the Kinsley family might suddenly become very enthusiastic. Therefore, the benefits of her showing up were evident. 

“What if they continue to hold their ground?” Jordan asked 

A cold glint flashed in Xena’s eyes. “Then, don’t blame me for using measures. I’ll monitor their phone calls, movements, and so on.”
